CNN has worked itself into a deranged frenzy over the Capitol riots. The scenes of MAGA lunatics breaching the seat of American democracy were certainly risible. But CNN and other mainstream outlets have decreed that this was an act of terrorism.

CNN’s star anchor, Jake Tapper, described last week’s events in Washington, DC as a ‘deadly domestic terrorist attack’, adding that the ‘terrorist mob’ was following the ‘instruction’ of Donald Trump.

It fits the definition of terrorism to a T. I’m interested to hear why anyone would disagree. A violent attack, with intent to kill, for political purposes. They planned to assasibate multiple elected officials.

What he said was very disrespectful of that one disabled new Republican congressman, questioning his loyalty etc, in light of the Jan 6th when this person is missing limbs etc. because of his love for American. And there is the other problem of the bias coverage with how they covered Democrats encouraging Trump staffers and other Republican congressmen to be mobbed in years passed.

A violent attack, with intent to kill, for political purposes. They planned to assassinate multiple elected officials.

Many of the Trump supporters at the Capitol that day were chanting "Hang Mike Pence!" and three of them were overheard saying they wanted to find Vice President Pence and execute him as a traitor. A noose was erected outside of the Capitol building. I posted a photo of the noose in another thread.

Not only was it a violent attack on the Capitol, but there was also an assassination attempt on Pence and a retired AF Colonel in tactical gear, carrying zip ties as if he was planning to take hostages.
