Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) appears to be getting ready to give Republicans in Congress a pop quiz on January 6th with just one question:

“Will Trump be relevant to the Republican Party in 2/4/6 years?”

Get it wrong and they will be throttled in any future campaign for being a RINO or a Trump lackey depending on how history unfolds.

Probably as relevant as that O'hara or O'tottle guy who was in before President Trump.

If the Republicans in Congress agree with your assessment, Hawley’s gambit will be a waste of two hours as this loses by 90 some odd votes in the Senate and 420 some odd votes in the House and we still end up with Biden as president.

It’s worse than that. Republicans are split in these issues, and probably will be in 2022. This will force people who will want to run in 2022 to take a position that will alienate voters, no matter which side they take. And there’s no way the vote will make any difference. This vote is a problem for Republicans. I wonder if we will see an unusual number of Republicans who can’t make the session, for one reason or another.

The writing is on the wall for Biden's oval office visit, however short it will be. It is not him they want at the desk, it is her. The current folks already know how evil and hostile those who hate President Trump can be. They are afraid of turning the tables and of letting justice reign, for now.

Even if we go the otherway and they all think Trump will be the party “leader” or at the very least king maker in 2024. There will be 2 hours of debate, the challenge will win the Senate 50-48 but will fail in the House 222-211, the votes still count for Biden.

This is all just sad political theatre from Hawley and free ammo for the Republican’s primary and general election opponents going forward.

Your sentence about justice you’ll have to fill me in on. I have no clue what you are talking about. Democrats have no reason to be nasty, they won the election. Based on what I have seen on Parler, I have a much greater fear of the Right being a violent insurrectionist group when they realize there are no legal means to keep their godman as President.

You are quite wrong. Democratic leaders chose Biden specifically because he would be seen as (and actually was) moderate. I'm not sure whether even someone who wants to cooperate can get anything done in this climate, but that's the only hope we have.

More practically, an ideologue is not going to help Democrats get elected in future elections. The best hope for the party is to identify a new generation of leaders. The old guys other than Biden are unelectable, and probably couldn't govern. The younger candidates needed more experience and more time for the public to get to know them.

We'll find out very soon whether Biden can govern.

You dismiss the fact that God is in control, no political party. He can make anything happen. He can move hearts, convict souls, even cause death or destruction. Look at that "sure thing" of Bill Clinton's wife getting the vote in the previous election.

"Justice" regarding a fair and just resolution in the wake of all of the election fraud and errors of this current election: Trump/Biden.

No, it is the left who will go nuts. Just watch.

If the election was a fraud and God doesn’t want Biden to be president, why has he let it get this far? Why has he let Trump fail in every single attempt to keep the White House, sometimes in spectacular, embarrassing fashion?

So you’re deity is just going to overrun people’s freewill to cause what he wants?

We have courts they could bring evidence of this fraud to seek relief. Why aren’t they doing it now? Justice delayed is justice denied.

No, it is the left who will go nuts. Just watch.

Why would the Left go nuts? They won the election. Biden is going to be President. They control the House. If Trump doesn’t stop causing havoc for Loeffler and Perdue, the Left will control the Senate as well.

Nope. If they, the Democrats, wanted Harris for president, then they would have nominated her, but they did not.

Naw, that's just projection. I haven't seen any politician on the left as hostile as Donald.

Donald lost, but rather than accept with grace and honor, he and his followers are trying to overturn a fair election. I have heard the new term "Banana Republicans" which sure seems apt to me.

No, they were aware that she couldn't win (for several reasons). But in Biden, they had the established politician who talks the "moderate" line and simultaneously affirms the Socialists in his Party.

He was a good front man with a chance of winning; Harris bombed during the primaries, so there was no chance of her being the presidential nominee.

Getting her to keep a low profile during the campaign and then, if Biden won, to get rid of him somehow, was the only way to put Harris or someone like her into the White House.

I think I saw this plot in a bond film. Or maybe it was mission impossible?

What nonsense. She bombed in the primaries because the Democrats didn't want her.

It’s a actually a Therapy for Trump supporter.. they can’t find much to say bad thing about Biden .. so they talk about Hunter .. when that doesn’t work .. then they talk about Harris …

Conspiracy Theory Addiction - Addiction Center

“Conspiracy theory addiction is a behavioral addiction that can have a hidden impact on the way you perceive events and has been linked to having more negative attitudes. Rather than helping one cope with their negative feelings, the belief in conspiracy theories can create a cycle of distrust and disempowerment. As a person encounters different sources, it is important to be able to analyze the information and distinguish between false theories and real threats.”

You ask a very honest question, one I have thought about. Though I can not answer for God, the consequences of turning the Presidency back to Trump now would be riots and rebellion. Thus, all those that have been praying for America actually might have turned God, to use Biden. I could make a case that for this time, Biden might be better, at least for America in the long term. If he and the dems prove inadequate, (highly likely in all kinds of ways) it could easily create revival or renewal for years to come.

You start by calling it "nonsense" of me to say "Harris bombed during the primaries" and then agree that she did. Terrific.
No, what I called nonsense was your claim that the Democrats actually wanted her despite their rejection of her during the primaries. Also that Biden is a mere "front man" is further nonsense on your part.
