It wasn't news till it was over. It WAS news for the biased main-stream media and its cohorts after it was sent back. After Michigan's forensic studies of its election process it has locked up its findings, hmmm? Our great and honorable President Trump's team hasn't counted on the Texas suit, and had continued their investigations into voter fraud. Forensic exams have been done on some MI machines now. MI has blocked the release of the results. Still more fraud info being discovered in other key states. Hundreds of pole workers have come forward with sworn testimonies (under penalty of purgery if lying) of the cheating. The President Trump team still say that they have 6 avenues they can take yet.

No, not what I saw. Even your link below shows it being reported before "it was over." Most objective legal analysts did claim it wouldn't do anything -- even I stated that it would likely be tossed because Texas lacked standing. I saw plenty of "mainstream" sources writing about this lawsuit.

I'm curious, where are you seeing that "MI has blocked the release of the results?" Everywhere I can see reports that Michigan certified their Presidential Election results -- and on Safe Harbor day all 50 states had certified their election results.

The audit was done for a local election, and I believe they may not have certified that election yet as the results are so close -- I suspect that may be what is confusing you. Though, even if you are correct, even if Michigan's electoral votes are not counted, it does not change the winner of the Presidential election.

Yes, eighteen other states joined Texas in their immoral and baseless lawsuit. How does that help you? The fact is that the Supreme Court got it right. Texas had no right to hypocritically complain about how other states ran their elections and get to try to disenfranchise the residents of those states. If one looks at Texas's complaints one realizes that Texas was guilty of the same. So should Texas be disenfranchised?

You guys are doing just can be expected of those who have been sabotaging our great and honorable President Trump all along; detract from the truth, evade the truth, redirect. What is the TOPIC of this THREAD?
Over 1/3 of US States Were in Legal Support of and with Texas In SCOTUS Lawsuit

How do you respond? With obscene totally distracting pictures, with a criticizing of my spelling, with name-calling, ... How intellectual of you. Par for the course.

This thread is to make people aware that contrary to others on this site Texas WAS NOT ALONE. Over 1/3 of the United States were in support of what Texas was/is trying to obtain.

We all read the news. We all read this site. We're all aware of the number of officials and states who sided with Texas. You're not making us aware of anything.

The lawsuit was stupid. TX's position was stupid. The fact that 1/3 of the states signed on shows just how desperate and pitiful the current state of the Republican party is.

More shame on them.

Their AG's need to go back to the drawing board. Read the Constitution!

And then publicly apologize to the citizens of their state for having taken part in this effort to subvert democracy and steal an election.

Apparently, you had a thread or participated in a thread on this. I am sorry that I missed it. But due to that you probably did research specific to this so obviously what you saw would be the needle in a hay stack of the few which did report on it. I would have never known about it if a relative hadn't mentioned it in an email. I suspect "most objective legal analysts" are those of whom you selected of the many out there which agreed with your position, in fact you could have steered your search criteria to avail you with only results favorable to your position so~heresay.

Nope. It was all over the mainstream media early last week BEFORE it was decided in court. I even heard about it through my local ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corp) news feed.

You appear to be the only one who didn't know.

And they lost totally and dramatically. The Court, even with a conservative majority, wouldn't even hear the case.

Then why even enter this thread??? If you already know move on. What is the reason to come then: to harass someone you don't agree with?

As I stated, it was definitely covered by the "Mainstream media," as others have agreed. As for the legal analysis, I read several -- on both sides. Again, for most the Supreme Court's decision was considered the most likely -- Texas didn't have standing, period.

And, as I mentioned, everything that Texas was claiming in the lawsuit had already been argued in court by the Trump campaign, and they had lost. There were a few rather partisan "experts" who thought that the Supreme Court would listen to the evidence and rule for Trump. I couldn't agree, from what I know of the law and the Supreme Court. Texas has no right to tell other states how to hold their elections, nor does the Supreme Court -- the Constitution leaves that to the states. As such, the Supreme Court -- particularly a conservative court that believes in state's rights -- was not going to tell states they know better how an election is done than the state the election occurs in.

Now, Justices Alito and Thomas believe the Supreme Court is obligated to take every state v. state lawsuit, so voted to hear the case, yet even they felt the need to say that they would not have granted Texas any of the relief they wanted (they would not have ruled for Texas). When a ruling is that one sided, if a "legal expert" told you the Supreme Court might rule for Texas, I would submit they aren't the "experts" you should listen to.

Yes, and over half the states opposed Texas' lawsuit, and those states have over half of all Americans living in them.
