They think it "is fact" in the 2020 election specifically in the case of this poll.

=====================================
Question: "How likely is it that Democrats stole votes or destroyed pro-Trump ballots in several states to ensure that Biden would win?"

Democrats – 30% – 20% say Very Likely (VL)
Unaffiliated – 39% – 29% say VL
Republicans – 75% – 61% say VL
All Voters – 47% – 36% say VL

=============================

But if the courts think that this is nothing new (so then it is the way we always do elections) then part of the Texas Lawsuit benefit gained will be that now we are letting all Americans know that this is "business as usual".

If that is the case then now is as good a time as ever -- to fix that perception by close audit of the process and results -- just like we would demand even of a 3rd-world country where election fraud was assumed to be "a given".

Voter perception isn't evidence of fraud; it may merely be evidence that voters are spending time on Twitter and other social media platforms.

What's needed is for those who claim election fraud to come forward very quickly with their evidence: What ballots did you see being destroyed, on what occasion, and did you happen to take a picture of the act on your phone or gather some other kind of evidence to document the act?

Court cases to overturn the election results aren't going to be successful unless the side claiming fraud can present evidence of their claim.

What election process/laws were changed last minute to obtain that perception by such a significant percentage of both Democrats and Republicans?

So election process and laws are why people are questioning election results ?

You don’t think that it has anything to do with sitting President throwing around conspiracy theories so fast his fingers are bleeding on Twitter ?

Courts throw these theories out as fast as they can but facts mean nothing now when people in their righteous ignorance are repeating YouTube conspiracies the President is busy retweeting.

Looking at the ease US mob mentality is exploited you could as well be a third world country you alleged to in the OP.

I guess it's too bad the courts don't accept poll results in the place of actual evidence ...

Yes I heard this figure quoted maybe a month ago. But didn't remember the source.

And I think things are going to get worse, with the election being over the mainstream press is trying to get back some of their integrity actually reporting on other kinds of stories like Hunter Biden that they avoided before.

Of course some folks would argue the case that no such action to correct the perception of fraud should be taken - so we can do this each and every election year.

What "fun" that would be??

Rediculous.

Who claimed they should?
Evidently all those people who believe polls instead of all the courts throwing the election cases out. You can't believe the courts are doing their job if you still believe a poll that says "There was massive voter fraud!!".

Again, and read this carefully...who claimed they should? Those people never once mentioned the courts should accept poll results.

"Evidently" is opinion and won't do.....I'll need quotes, please if you really believe they said such a thing.

uhmmm...actually every time someone claims "There's massive voter fraud!! And here's a poll that shows it!!" when all that exact same "evidence" has been thrown out of court repeatedly. So the underlying belief is: "The courts should pay more attention to the polls and less to the law. How else are we going to keep President Trump in office?" Take this thread as an example. Has anything been presented in it that says "Well, the courts have rejected all this "evidence" so maybe I should stop claiming President Trump won the election because no court or actual investigation has found any evidence of fraud." Or is the underlying message "Look! 30% of Democrats believe there was election fraud! This poll says so!!". That would be the point being made in saying "guess it's too bad the courts don't accept poll results in the place of actual evidence ...." :wave:

Having read newspapers and such since age 11, and being now pretty far in middle age, I've learned to always check from more than one source.

Doing that, I was just reading:

"A solid majority of Americans trust that the results of the 2020 presidential election are accurate, but only about a quarter of Republicans do, according to a new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist survey.

"Sixty-one percent say they trust the results, including two-thirds of independents, but just 24% of Republican respondents say they accept the results."
Poll: Just A Quarter Of Republicans Accept Election Outcome
(there are quite a few more poll question results in the article; one at the end I found in interesting was about a mask mandate for instance)

What is going to be the long term outcome when some portion of those millions that believed in Trump begin to realize he was saying stuff that wasn't real over and over during these 4 years?

Question is, which source is correct?

Well, since no one ever said "You guys believe polls should be allowed as evidence in court!!" I thought I did a pretty good job in explaining what was meant by it. :)

Let's see if I am following you? Are you suggesting that we always check more than one source but only cite one source? In this case NPR/PBS.
