Republican's it seems, to me, want conflict, want tough talk, want USA to exert it's military and economic dominance on every other country, want to bully and coerce all others to bend to the sole benefit of USA Republicans. Biden will not give them that, Biden will, like Obama, seek to make friends, allies etc, he will seek to be a peer on the global stage rather than a bully. I find it very interesting that none of Donald's Christian supporters have prayed for his soul. They pray for him to be victorious, to be strong, to smite his enemies... but never once have I heard them pray for his soul.

I thought Christians were supposed to "Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves" (Heb 13:17)? As I understand it, this practically means you should believe and obey Trump's allegations.

The whole counsel of God's Word needs to be taken into account and not just taking one isolated verse or passage out of context to the rest of the Bible. Daniel's friends did not bow to the statue of the king because it conflicted with God's laws. Trump's baseless claims of mass voter fraud is easy to see that it is false because he claimed voter fraud even when against Hillary. In other words, Christians obey the law of the land if it does not conflict with God's laws. Christians should not support immoral actions in our president lying. But even if he wasn't lying by some slim chance (Which does not seem likely), his actions currently are making things worse for the country so that Biden will have a mess on his hands when he begins office. So Trump is not thinking about the people, but he is merely being vindictive. This is behavior that we should not support. It's a behavior that is not of God. Now, if he were to make a godly decision in this matter, then that would be different. But we all know he is not making the right choices now for America as a greater whole.

Those who do not care about Trump's soul or his salvation would be nominal Christians. They did not have a change of heart spiritually in seeking to follow the Lord Jesus Christ according to His Word. There are many who simply wear the Christian label, but they are not born again or changed. They are still the old man and not the new man.

IIRC it did turn up a couple of minor instances of voter fraud --- both by Republicans. I think that I am safe in suggesting that voter fraud is far more likely to be Republican sourced.

They support Donald solely because of what's in it for them... which makes me wonder if they support Christ for similar reasons. My experience has been that such people are usually the same sort who use Pascal's Wager as a witnessing tool on people such as myself -- meaning that sincerity is unimportant so long as one goes through the motions... and more importantly, one is seen going through the motions.

It works on Donald; perhaps they think it also works on God?
