Trump is currently replacing the Pentagon hierarchies with Yes men and believes he has front loaded the Supreme Court with his pals. He continues to insist the election was fraudulent, despite having no evidence to support that.

Assuming he decides not to leave and the military support him, making it impossible for President Elect Biden to take his place, in the White house January 20th 2021, which "Commander in Chief" should the international community recognise as the legitimate president of the USA?

I keep seeing people say there is no evidence. I'm confused as to why that's being said. I see plenty of reporting that says otherwise.

The U.S. military does not involve itself in domestic politics.

Name some, none of it survives proper scrutiny and is clear evidence of planned fraud

Yeh yeh so said Mark Esper before he was fired. So then why has Trump been replacing chain of command with yes men. If the Commander in chief orders a protection detail to prevent what he defines as an overthrow of the elected president surelythey have to obey that order?

If you have to make up false scenarios to vilify a man, then he must not be villainous enough by his own merit.

I truly hope this is a false scenario. I am just following the evidence thus far and asking what if? Think this is a bigger issue than the man himself and not an invite to personal villification, though if this happens itcwill be because he drives it and Americans consent to it. America has not been this dangerously divided since the Civil War. The same question was asked then.

Uh, no. Firstly, Trump replaced Epser about 5 months after they had a public break over how to handle the civil unrest in our cities (you know, when the left was creating havoc and causing billions of dollars in damage and lives were being lost over politicans doing nothing to protect the innocent.)

That doesn't scream unfair to me. People disagree, apparently this firing was over something else.

Secondly, there's not people rioting atm, so who cares if there was a policy dispute.

So now, 3 people resigned because they didn't like Epsers being fired. They can leave then, and get over it. No one fired them... no one asked them to resign.

All Trump is doing right now is promoting from within, in order to cover those 3 positions.

So all this drama from the left is irrational at best. No one's going to war, and there won't be streets running red with blood.

My goodness people need to get a grip.

Obama overhauled the Pentagon and military intelligence 3-1/2 years into his first term....

Barack Obama's defence overhaul 'risks blurring line between military and spying'

Nothing untoward happened after that... calm down a little. Breathe.

At first you say none and now admit it's true but disqualify it. Smh. Which is it?

No I asked you to name some and you could not and instead resorted to an ad homine attempt to avoid the argument

believes he has front loaded the Supreme Court with his pals.

He filled vacancies caused by retirement or death, as was his constitutional duty as President of the United States.

They are all people who believe in the law, and DON'T believe in legislation from the bench.

They aren't anyone's "buddies" but the United States Constitution.

Seriously, this is our country and it is legally being ran according to our laws.

Stop being overly dramatic

Until it happens it's a false scenario. I remember the same thing being said about Obama. It was false then, too. Only, with O' the firings and replacements were far more extensive. He was knocking out a lot of top brass to replace them with cronies. The way I see it is that Trump needs to, at the very least, reverse some of the damage done by Obama. Democrats can't be the only ones allowed to play hardball, here, or we'll all wind up getting stuck in leftist hell.

I am not supporting the lawlessness exhibited on the streets at that time. Trump tried to invoke the Insurrection Act and Esper opposed him on that. That is a major reason why he is now gone.

Secondly, there's not people rioting atm, so who cares if there was a policy dispute.

So then why does he still have that massive wall that was set up at election time around the WhiteHouse.

Mr. Trump, Tear Down This Wall

So now, 3 people resigned because they didn't like Epsers being fired. They can leave then, and get over it. No one fired them... no one asked them to resign.

All Trump is doing right now is promoting from within, in order to cover those 3 positions.

Yes a lot of people "resign" around Donald Trump. But some key appointments recently represent a diminishing of the talent pool at the top, a circumventing of the normal chain of command and could even be malicious.

Trump administration removes senior defense officials and installs loyalists, triggering alarm at Pentagon - CNNPolitics

I hope you are right and the transition of power is a peaceful one.

Obama was a little more sane about this than Trump though he also had an agenda which I rejected at the time.

But nothing convincing, are you going to pick one or are we just going to trade links. What is your best evidence of an overall planned attempt to steal the election. Not small town mistakes and misdeamours - mass fraud. Since Biden won this by 5 million votes this is what it will take to reverse the election result.

Our Constitution demands the transition of power to the duly elected President. On January 20 he will no longer be the Commander in Chief of the military. If need be we have authorities who can remove him from the property. (police/sheriffs) At that point he would be trepassing if he didn't leave when asked to. Melania and his children would never let this happen.
