I don't prefer digital sarcasm, so I will state my point clearly. Covid virus spreads at "Trump rallies" because people stand for hours in the rain, don't wear masks, and don't keep their distance.
The reason large outbreaks are not associated with protests is that people wear masks, use hand sanitizer, and take care to keep their distance.
Point in fact, You have absolutely no idea how or why they got infected....so those 700 people who died chose to do so as well? They weren't just people who got infected with covide because someone else chose to attend a Trump rally and ended up contracting covide and gave it to them?
tulc(is just curious)
In truth no we should not have laws that infringe on the legal decisions that adults make.So we shouldn't have laws requiring adults to wear seatbelts?
I see. Then any adult should be able to drive a car or pilot a plane without a license. Their decision. And they should be able to drive any vehicle they want on public roads whether it has been inspected or not. Again, their decision. And hey should be able to drive in the left lane. Their decision. This can go on and on. The fact is that we all give up certain freedoms as part of living in society. In truth no we should not have laws that infringe on the legal decisions that adults make.
It could go on and on no doubt except I said legal activities and you are trying to confuse the issue by incorporating illegal activities.I see. Not to mention New York's governor Cuomo along with governors of 3 other Democrat-controlled states, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania directing nursing homes to accept covid patients that resulted in 51,000 covid deaths as of Oct 1 according to the Kaiser Family Foundation and a New York Times database. 51,000 covid deaths resulting in lawsuits!I hope this doesn't come out wrong, but why is that the Trump rallies get covid but the whole BLM, Statue protests, and whatever leftist event didn't?
I am somewhat haunted by this question.
In my state it is illegal to not wear a seatbelt. It is illegal in every state except New Hampshire. I’m not confusing anything. It could go on and on no doubt except I said legal activities and you are trying to confuse the issue by incorporating illegal activities.
Spreading death and hospital bills is nothing to boast about.
Well good luck with that as even if you wear a decent quality mask everyone else is wearing 50 cent masks out there spreading Covid around town. I heard somewhere that 70% of the people who caught covid were wearing masks, if that is true doesn't bode well for mask use IMO.
Sounds like a commercial on tv selling "health supplements" that say it "helps support" to me. If something gives you 1% protection you can truthfully say it is "of benefit". The problem is if masks only give you a small "benefit" yet encourage people to NOT distance and traps the virus in/on the mask and people touch it all day and infect themselves worse that if they were not wearing it at all is it truly "of benefit". Those not wearing a mask that distance more thoroughly may actually be LESS likely to be infected because the virus just doesn't get where they are while a mask you can end up next to someone infected wearing a mask instead of staying back. The following is from the article Still Confused About Masks? Here's the Science Behind How Face Masks Prevent Coronavirus.
"For the general public, the most important consideration may be comfort. The best mask is one you can wear comfortably and consistently, said Chin-Hong. N95 respirators are only necessary in medical situations such as intubation. Surgical masks are generally more protective than cloth masks, and some people find them lighter and more comfortable to wear. The bottom line is that any mask that covers the nose and mouth will be of benefit."
So a $.50 mask is still beneficial.

The article I provided is from a noted research hospital. Please provide evidence to back you claims. Oh, and exactly where does the article I provided say that masks only provide 1% protection? I no longer read articles online about masks..... too many of them are very biased and not really scientific but cherry pick statistics.
An intellectually dishonest comparison as the geography of the two are nowhere near the same nor is the government and rights of individuals the same either. An honest comparison would be to New Zealand and Australia and perhaps Greece even and on a level maybe Hawaii.Spreading death and hospital bills is nothing to boast about.

No thanks. I've read such articles and most often you have "experts" that are biased and also make claims about masks and you find out the masks that their statistics are based on are the highest quality N95 masks properly fitted and used by trained health workers, not 50 cent masks or bandanas or cloth masks at all with people who use them improperly constantly which more mimics the general population IMO.The article I provided is from a noted research hospital. Not intellectually dishonest. Similar populations, both democracies. One used Trump’s method and COVID has been a disaster. The other dealt with the problem in a way that worked. An intellectually dishonest comparison as the geography of the two are nowhere near the same nor is the government and rights of individuals the same either. I haven't heard about Hawaii, is the state run by Democrats or not and how did they fare with Covid?
So all you are giving us is your opinion, which is totally worthless. No thanks. Ignoring geography and governments and individual rights and also a lot of other things that could make a huge difference is honest? Not intellectually dishonest.
