Cost of Obedience

What comes to mind for me is Abraham, and God's "take" on Abraham. What was near and dear to God's heart is that Abraham had faith in the living God. God called Abraham His "friend".

Why did God call Abraham His "friend"?

It was because Abraham BELIEVED Him.

When we BELIEVE God, that in itself, is a "testimony" and a declaration to WHO God is, and in essence is "worship" and "adoration" of our inexplicable and REAL God.

It is written that when we "heed" God, and thus take Him seriously, and thus "obey" Him, He will hunt us down and overcome us with blessings, even if we did not request them. Therefore, if we dare to BELIEVE Him, to take Him at His Word, our requests ARE heard by Him and granted, and always according to HIS will, and timing, and not ours. (Our own "will" should've had its own funeral already....theres no room for "both", as it is written. After all, It is our own willfulness that got us into trouble in the first place.)
