He later complained about Stahl at a rally in Erie in the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania at which he also made the surprising admission there was “no way” he would have come to the town had the coronavirus pandemic not put his re-election hopes in jeopardy.

Clearly he’s feeling the heat and is trying to control the narrative. ‘Lock her up’ and build the wall chants might not be enough this time round it seems, I think Trump realises he needs to be in control of his phoney image more than ever.
