Early in October, Bill Barr began telling top Republicans that the Justice Department’s extensive review into the origins of the Russia investigation, election spying, will not be released before the election.

This came as a surprise to President Trump who told conservative news on 9th:

That’s a disgrace. I think it’s a disgrace. It’s an embarrassment, , , See, this is what I mean with the Republicans. They don’t play the tough game. They don’t play the tough game. If this were the other side, you would have had 25 people in jail for the rest of their lives with what we found. That’s a disgrace!

I fully declassified everything. Everything’s been declassified. They have so much information. They didn’t need any more than frankly, Mr. Horowitz, who is an Obama appointment, he wrote a report on Comey that was so bad, it was so bad, I’ve never seen anything like it. And they should have gone after him just on that.

And McCabe, too, you know, took $700,000 from Hillary Clinton, , , We caught them cold, and we have people that don’t know how to do anything about it. It’s horrible. If that’s the case, I have to check that. I find it hard to believe.

We caught ’em in the act. They were spying on my campaign and then they went for a coup. Nobody said, “Well, gee, you know, let’s hold off the investigation.” But with them they do. The Republicans don’t play it the same way. It’s very disappointing.

Clearly (I think), the president is infuriated.

Now, as of last week, Barr says there won’t be any “any criminal charges or findings of wrongdoing”.

Haven’t we been here before? What’s more interesting to me is, didn’t DJT take some measure of precaution against that possibility?

All thoughts welcome.

Yes, we have been here before and have had the same result each time --- no evidence to proceed on.
Yep, just like the Benghazi investigations, Donald's little voting fraud committee, and empty promises to lock up his political opponents, and so on. At some point you'd think his followers would start to catch on. Wonder why they don't.

Lol it's always fun to hear Trump talk about his expertise in areas of the law as in climate change, infectious diseases and everything else he is the ultimate expert on. If it wasn't for him, how would anyone know what is legal and what isn't? I'm glad he knows everything about stuff and doesn't have to bother with silly things like reality, it's very refreshing.

, , like Mueller, millions of our dollars on zip!

Except a list of potential obstruction of justice charges against the president that Mueller added he wasn't allowed to indict on because the DoJ rules don't allow a sitting president to be indicted.

Like really, what could Mueller have actually done to convince you? He found crimes, and wasn't allowed to indict. That counts as an exoneration now?

Except indictments and convictions of Trump associates, as well as obstruction evidence against Trump. In fact, (unlike the GOP investigations) they recouped more money than they spent.

As something of an aside, the DOJ went to court and argued that Trump was lying about his claims of having declassified everything.

The DOJ in an "awkward position"? Normally, I appreciate the L&C site. But, the treatment is as it is here, awkward; that there is no possibility of mischievousness from the DOJ. Same-ol-same, when our guy falls, cover. When opposition succeeds, , Donald's words deliver, ,

What?
Are you alleging that some lawyers in Justice lied to the Court about the President declassifying documents?
Quite the career-ending move!

<Looks at all the indictments and money returned to the government from the investigation>

Perhaps your definition of "zip" is different from mine. Would you care yo explain how the indictment of multiple criminals equates to "zip"?

You seem to prefer relativity in the usual slant.

How many of those indictments generated convictions? Sounds as though you prefer deflection. ‘Collusion’ narrative soured though it is commonly reported, they knew the outcome far in advance.

How do either of you know and verify the greater percentage of reports released, is not feeding the deep state war chest, via establishment disinformation I continue to refer you to?

What, don’t question the flow? Oh-yeah, tread carefully in this garden of naivety.

Pointless.

Odd, you did not answer my question and instead attacked a position I had not taken, then declared the whole thing pointless.

Well, after this long-winded attempt to overwhelm the OP question, isn't it rather obvious?
