This some people say. I am part of the church, but I suffer nonetheless, my life is stuck.
This some people say. I am part of the church, but I suffer nonetheless, my life is stuck.
I see many Christians with no obstacles thoughThen you have found the truth.
In this world it is the Church that will suffer the most, the more closely they follow Jesus.
Why else would the Church be able to recognize Saints if it were not so?
What He suffered while alive is what we can also expect in our own lives.
Derision? yep. Betrayal? yep.
Suffering? yep. Agony? yep.
If we are true Christians, there is no getting away from it. So our only consolation is not to be found in this World, but only in the hope of our resurrection into the next Life with Christ. Plead to God that it may come swiftly.
He can perform miracles..i think this notion that God's children never suffer is completely wrong and such peoples teachings are in error. i have struggled with illness all my life. i've been much more depressed than feeling good. Still it has been good to know the Lord during these times. He has only strengthened my faith in His loving truth.
My life with the Lord has been very much like this, and i guess a lot of people will relate to this in their lives as well.
Isaiah 30:20-21 "Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
Who claims that the church will not suffer? Only those who have no clue about the real Christian life. About 2 weeks ago, I was close to death and in the greatest pain imaginable. God graciously saved my life and brought me through the ordeal. There are many references to hardship, tribulation, persecution and suffering that the Christian will endure. It's a sign that you are truly in Christ. Satan does not bother supposed Christians who are no threat to him. This some people say. I am part of the church, but I suffer nonetheless, my life is stuck.

2 Timothy 3:
10You, however, have observed my teaching, my conduct, my purpose, my faith, my patience, my love, my perseverance, 11my persecutions, and the sufferings that came upon me in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. What persecutions I endured! Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. 12Indeed, all who desire to live godly lives in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,…

In all my life I have only known one person that seemed to have a perfect life. A Christian who presented a life with no cares. In truth I believe she had as many trials but she wished to present her life as care free knowing that others had their own cross to bear and she didn't want to add to them.I see many Christians with no obstacles though
I am glad to hear you recovered. We would suffer without you here.Who claims that the church will not suffer? Only those who have no clue about the real Christian life. These three abide - Faith, Hope and Love.
Abide means Now...
His will is that we discover and walk in the pre-appointed works in this life - what could be more fulfilling? A life of seeing Him move, a life of celebrating His Love. His Spirit burning within us with passion for His purpose.
This is the life - now.
Jesus himself said plainly that it was not just about the next life.
Sure there will be persecutions but the Spirit of Glory rests on us.
See Matt 19...
28Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, in the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or
mother or wife or children or fields for the sake of My name will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life. 30But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.…
My life is stuck. What does that mean, stuck how? This some people say. I am part of the church, but I suffer nonetheless, my life is stuck.
Do you mean not moving? I still don't understand.Like, paralyzed in a scene
