The effect of cooler weather adds to the transmission, as people gather indoors, and the virus spreads far easier indoors.

But this acceleration is more and faster than just from cooler weather alone.

People not wearing masks:

"More than 70,450 new coronavirus cases were reported in the United States on Friday, the highest figure since July 24, according to a New York Times database. More than 900 new deaths were recorded.

At least nine states set single-day case records on Friday: Wyoming, Minnesota, Wisconsin, West Virginia, North Dakota, Indiana, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado. And as of midday Saturday, Indiana and Ohio had set records.

The virus has also been surging globally: a record 415,000-plus cases on Friday, a record.

Epidemiologists warn that nearly half of the states in the U.S. are seeing surges unlike anything they experienced earlier in the pandemic. Eighteen states and Guam added more cases this week than in any other week. The nationwide seven-day average has increased by nearly 8,000 daily new cases since last Friday."

Thanks very much for posting this. Perhaps some will pay attention and lives will be saved, not lost. 219,000+ people have died from this deadly virus in the US alone. Imagine!

However, the number of amplification cycles that was needed to detect genetic matter from the virus, which is referred to as the cycle threshold, typically isn't included in test results sent to doctors and patients, Mandavilli reports.

Mina said that information is more telling, as it indicates a patient's viral load, and patients carrying minuscule amounts of the virus may not be contagious. Therefore, information on a patient's viral load should be used to determine the patient's next steps, Mina said.

"It's really irresponsible, I think, to forgo the recognition that this is a quantitative issue," he added.

Kerry Mullis, INVENTOR OF PCR TESTING, AIDS DENIER (HE COWROTE THE BOOK WITH DUESBERG), AND NOBEL PRIZE WINNER, said that PCR tests SHOULD NOT ever be used for diagnosis of any disease.

With enough amplification cycles in the PCR test, you can prove ANY person has ANY disease.

It's a HUGE GLOBAL SCAM.

The rate of death from this disease is still decreasing. I think that's a better indicator. Otherwise, the increased rate of infection could be the direct result of an increased rate of testing.

The President said that Spring and Summer would kill the virus and yet it is still here. It is interesting that Spring and Summer saw the appearance of Biden political signs. It is also interesting that President Trump catches Covid AFTER meeting with Biden.

If that were the case, why did they start to go down, only to start sharply going up? There's no indication that we're testing any more or less now than we were a month ago.

The numbers are over-reported and inflated, and have been throughout this entire pandemic.

Even if we assume the worst case scenario, that the stats are completely accurate, that's still a death rate of less than one tenth of one percent of the population.

Which makes it unfortunate, and something we need to be aware of, and working against. But the constant panic and fear mongering and shutdowns and hysteria is sooooo overblown and tired at this point.

Exactly. Testing has exploded and is now available to almost everyone, so of course the numbers of positives are going to go up. Most of those people are asymptomatic and will recover just fine at home. We're doing Covid testing here where I work and 99% of the people coming in are not ill, just curious. The CDC admitted that over 90% of the positive Covid tests were over-amplified and should not have been counted, as the viral load in the samples was too small to be significant or contagious.

Go on with your lives, people.

Testing is becoming vastly more available. We started free testing for anyone who wanted a test just a few weeks ago (where I work).

Free tests have been available for months. Just because a spot opened up near you doesn’t mean there’s been some big increase. Overall, the number of tests done per day has stayed steady over the past few months.

Since March, for those that have died, the average time between first symptoms and deaths was about 4 weeks.

Therefore we can understand that any deaths that will come from new infections reported this week would show up very roughly about 3 weeks later (by the time someone has a positive test result, they are often already having had the virus around a week or more.).

An large increase in weekly new cases lately won't show up as an increase in deaths until about that roughly 3 week later time.

So, you can wait and see, but wise would be to practice good mask wearing, for most locations in the U.S., of course, since a mask reduces the amount of virus you breathe in if you happen to be around airborne virus, such as in a store or other indoor space. And being exposed to a lower amount of virus is well established to result in a more mild illness.

(As someone very adept at math, having already run these numbers many times, I know you'll want to double check your data (starting numbers) for trying to represent a rate calculated off the official data. If we take an official count type of data, like here:
Provisional Death Counts for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
then the rate of death per confirmed presence of the virus is of course pretty high, much more than 0.001 -- in fact for that ratio about 0.024)

But, step back from the mere numbers though for a moment and think Big Picture --

The reason most of us healthy under 60 people would want to wear a mask very consistently around non-household members isn't for ourselves.

It's for other people.

So that we don't accidentally give some far less healthy or strong person a terminal illness that we could easily avoid giving them.

People such as our elderly neighbors or relatives, or others that we know with serious underlying health problems, such as some at most any church for instance, or even just Grandma...

Out of love.

Because we love other people.

They are all mortal of course, but perhaps they might live another 5 or 10 years and tell wonderful stories to some grandchildren.... Or testify about Christ....

If the stats are accurate, we're closing in on one tenth of one percent of the entire US population has already died of COVID-19. Not just among people who got the disease, but out of everyone.

Currently Worldometers puts us at about 0.07% of the US population is dead of COVID-19.

To what end? What is the global goal?

I think the end goal is to setup the world stage for the antichrist. There are intermediary steps along the way like consolidating power, reducing population etc.

A lot of students went back to school a month ago, which required a whole lot of tests, some of which are ongoing. I know one of mine is tested twice a week, still, after months (went back earlier).

This just in, Vladimir Putin announced he would like to meet with Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi.
