trying to say I'm not the same person I was single or even as a DINK
really didn't feel like an full fledged adult until becoming a parent & having that big responsibility

What's a "DINK"?

Well, everyone learns and grows and (ideally) matures over time and with experiences But I'm still the same person I was 10 or 20 years ago. That's what I meant, anyway! All the conversations and topics and things I liked to share and chat about when I was single, remain the same now.

I traveled around Europe by car with one pot and a gas stove.

The menu when we didn't eat out was fondu at night and eggs in the morning.

Fondu was all the rage and in Switzerland the cheese we used was Gruyere and Emmental.

Yes they were the days - I worked in Denmark for 19 months, got all my tax back because I was teaching Danes electronics, Blew 600 English Pounds in three weeks seeing Europe before sailing from Barcelona to Mozambique and driving up into Zambia for six months.

You've been quite the adventurer, my friend My biggest traveling ambition for now is simply to see most of the U.S. via road trip. I'll never be a globe trotter, but I'm okay with that.

This reminds me that our church used to have fruit juice and cheese evenings (rather than wine and cheese) and they were a hit. Lots of cheeses and lots of fruit juices.
