he owes more than $1 billion.
The loans are spread out over more than a dozen different assets—hotels, buildings, mansions and golf courses. Most are listed on the financial disclosure report Trump files annually with the federal government. Two, which add up to an estimated $447 million, are not.
So he owes all this money (see detailed charts in article) on dozens of properties...and ths $447 million isn't even mentioned? Hmmm....

I don't think he's "levered."
Maybe he needs to "levitate" to the Ecuadorian embassy in London and share digs with Julian Assange to avoid being apprehended by federal marshals on January 21.

Push comes to shove, he could always ask Joe and Hunter how to get Ukraine and China to hand over millions to him as well. Obviously, the Dems don't seem to condemn such a practice.

When you are the president, being in debt to foreign countries or companies can make you vulnerable to extortion and make our country vulnerable to treason.
To make matters worse, Trump personally guaranteed these loans so if they come due and he cannot pay them he will become personally bankrupt.
This is why presidents should put their assets in a blind Trust or divest themselves. Every other president has done that in recent times no matter how wealthy he was.
Mitt Romney, worth 250 million dollars, showed tax returns and was willing to comply with these rules.

Condemn a practice that doesn't happen?
I condemn it; or at least the imaginations in which it lives.

Since when is it a crime to have misfortunes in business?
Misfortunes and bad decisions laced with fraud are not the same thing.

When was Trump ever convicted of fraud? I would think the millions of dollars spent trying find evidence of wrongdoing by Trump over the past 4 years certainly someone would have found that smoking gun.

He hasn’t, he always settles before his fraud cases go to trial because he knows that he would lose if there was a trial.

Accomplices in the DOJ and Congress go a long way towards covering him.

Except that the Special Council investigation into conspiracy with Russia to interfere in the 2016 election never focused on Trump, and never investigated Trump's finances.

Any attempt to get to Trump's finances for other investigations have been dragged through the courts for over 3 years.

Trump's been funneling government money (both US and foreign) into his business since he took office. Whatever Biden's taken has been peanuts compared to Trump's grifting.

There's been plenty of things to indict "individual 1" (aka Donald Trump) over, but DOJ guidelines don't allow for a sitting President to be indicted.

He’s audited every year by the IRS - they found nothing illegal about his tax returns, so I couldn’t care less about them.

And your little chart about job creation is the height of partisan ideologue distortion of the facts.

In three years before COVID19 hit, job growth under trump was 7 million jobs.

And they were good paying jobs, too, which is why median income, which was flat all 8 Obama years, rose 4,000 dollars in those three years.

According to the household survey data and the non-farm payroll business survey data collected by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, President Trump created 6.7 million jobs in his first three years in office. On adding the number of jobs added in the first two months of 2020 until the coronavirus pandemic struck in March, the number of jobs added during his terms hovers around the 7 million marks with the economy adding a higher-than-expected 273,000 new jobs in February 2020.

And Trump actually kept his promises, though you have heard nothing about that from the fake news, Democrat lap dog media.

Before COVID came and the country was shut down on the advice of all the medical experts, which crashed the economy, Trump did the following:

TRUMPs PROMISES that he’s kept

(1) his economic plan of: a corporate tax cut designed to stop businesses from leaving the USA and taking jobs with them; coupled with cutting bureaucratic regulations that made it hard to start, run, or expand a business, resulted in the strongest economy in the world and the lowest unemployment rate in fifty years, with a median income increase of 4,000 dollars in just three years

(2) he rebuilt the military that was weak and depleted

(3) appointed 2 SCOTUS judges who will support the second amendment, plus 300 federal district judges

(4) set up dozens of “opportunity zones” in cities with poor neighborhoods to bring in businesses and jobs for black folks

(5) ended the war on coal and opened up oil and natural gas production, to where we are the number one worldwide energy producer

(6) renegotiated NAFTA and replaced it with the USMCA agreement, plus cancelled the TPP trade agreement

(7) got NATO allies to start paying their fair share of defense costs

(8) took on China and their one-sided tariffs by imposing reciprocal tariffs on their goods, with the end goal of no tariffs by either country - and now has a new trade agreement with them

(9) gave pastors back their free speech rights in the pulpit, to speak about anything they choose, even politics (executive order)

(10) the wall is being built

(11) he did away with restrictive rules of engagement that prevented the destruction of ISIS and destroyed their caliphate

(12) reformed the Veterans Administration so bad employees can be fired, and veterans can get healthcare from private doctors and hospitals, if the VA waiting time for an appointment is excessive.

(13) Kept His promise to move our Israel embassy to Jerusalem

(14) Supported and signed the First Step act, that is letting minorities out of prison who were given excessively long sentences.

I like having a president who’s NOT a slick, politician that tells you what he thinks you want to hear, but plainly speaks his mind, who has that NY attitude of not taking crap, who fights back, who does what he thinks is right.

Compare that to lying corrupt politicians who flip flop their positions 180 degrees, when they think that’s what the public wants.

Like Hillary, who flipped to being against everything Bill Clinton did in office, from being pro border security and anti illegal immigration, and tough on crime, and much more - just like Biden’s doing now.

Strange that none of those "crimes and misdemeanors" were ever proven during the impeachment witch hunt. Surely there must be some competent investigators somewhere that could have found the smoking gun.

Impeachment isn't a legal process, it's a political one. There is no such thing as "proving" crimes in an impeachment process.

Just because you stuck your fingers in your ears and yelled "blah blah blah" doesn't mean evidence of Trump's misdeeds haven't been shown.
