As a European very interested in contemporary history of USA and it's role in the world, it's very clear to me that people all over the world is living in fear for what might happen if the greatest military power in the world will continue on the path it's been following with the Republican party and how Trump and those who work for him, is declared a danger to democracy by many and it's almost turning into a cliche how people are leaving the current administration in disgust of what is going on in the White House, and even if there in USA are people that think that the coming election is a matter for Americans and that politics is a private matter, they would normally be right, but this time the outcome is clearly a matter of not only national security, but of the stability of the world. So I pray that Biden win in this election, or rather that Trump lose, since it's not a matter of politics anymore, but if the the stability of the world since WW2 ended will continue or not.

Also as a Christian it's so clear to see how many Churches have been infiltrated by political influence, and because of this many now blaspheme Jesus and the Cross, because they think Christians are on the side of corruption, hypocrisy, anti-intellectual, pseudo-scientific ideas etc. and it also seem that many Christians think they must have a certain political opinion, and even think God are on the side of conservative, right-wing ideologies, just as long as these look good on the outside, no matter how rotten it is on the inside.

Because of this Christians as a whole are getting painted a target on them, and anyone that know the history of the church also know that we have been persecuted (and still are to this day), tortured and murdered, even when the body of Christ was not divided, and when Christians gathered did not have wolves in sheep's clothing in their midst, and when only lies and evil could be seen in anyone that made themselves an opponent of Christianity. But these days such individuals as Gandhi can be quoted, for example that he said "I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." Even if Gandhi never actually said any such thing, it's widely believed that he did say it, and this is a point that is important to understand in itself, but my main point is that we should all repent, follow Jesus, understand how serious it is if our sins will make people turn away from God when they see us as examples of Christianity. We should all strive to become innocent as doves, but wise as snakes. We should all turn our back to this world and the things of this world. We should never be on the side of ignorance or evil in any way, or be seen to support any of this. Amen.

This post is not meant as a political argument in any way, but just me sharing my thoughts and pouring out of the things on my heart, of something I see as very important. I won't take part in any arguments for or against any kind of political ideas. I only wish for fellow brothers and sisters to also pray for a world in 2021 with less division, where people don't have to be fearful and worried, that lies are not presented as truth and that people won't be confused about any of this anymore. I wish for my child to grow up in a world with peace, and also wish the same for other peoples children. That there still will be time to turn to Jesus for anyone that long for the things only He can give us. Amen.

I think if people read the Bible (Especially the New Testament), they will see through the false ideologies in politics. I am for whoever God chooses to bring in power again. Everything happens for a reason. All good and bad things happen in this world for a reason. Granted, while God does not agree with sin, He can use sinful men and their ways for His ultimate glory. Take for example the cross. God used sinful men to crucify His Son. What looked like the death of the Savior, and an end to the disciple's master turned out to be the greatest victory of all in human history. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.

If we focus more on our relationship with God, all things that are bad in this world will pass away (or melt away) and not be a concern for us. For our hiding place is in the Lord. Our comfort in times of trouble is in the Lord.

With all due respect, when you share your political views and then close the door for anyone to share theirs, it's not being fair.

Being that you shared your political views, this should have been placed in the Political forum.

You have also expressed desire for Biden in prayer but not Trump.

Not trying to start a conflict here, just bringing it to your attention.

Sincerely,

Not an election prayer I'll join you in.
Fascinating how God who hears prayers sorts out all the differences among those who are His & proceeds with His Plan.
Sad that we are so far from corporate unity:

NKJ Eph. 4:11-16 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head-- Christ--16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Wow, the lefts lies and agenda really have gotten to some folks. Completely brain washed, that's sad. The divide is world wide because the divide of who is God's people and who isn't is world wide. We have crossed a prophetic threshold and the division is growing wider. Biden isn't the answer, oh the left will pull back their so called demonstrators if he gets in but prophetically the world will continue to wax worse and worse. There is an agenda set by the left with a due date 2030, Trump's in the way, so they spit venom over anything he does. Period. It's really that simple, though it looks complicated on the face of the world. And make no mistake, God is in this, He see's who is who in this time. That very fact is part of what this divide is.

We are headed to a NWO, the left wants into that, so does Satan. When it comes to fruition and it will one day, The AntiChrist will run that for a period of 7 years. And the world can not discern it.

This post is not meant as a political argument in any way,

Your entire post is essentially a leading "Have you stopped beating your wife....?" loaded question / fallacy if your on the conservative side.

I'm not surprised you Europeans like Democrats more... because they have been wanting to turn our country into Europe for over a century... that is their ideal. And I likewise do not see Europeans as a Christian ideal either, and quite frankly you should be more thankful of the protection your country has received from the US over the last number of decades because I'm pretty sure the Soviets, Nazi's, and Putin's Russia would have had you under their thumb.

And yes this thread should be moved....

Heavenly Father, I ask that You will make that decision through the voters of the United States. May You use whoever wins to bring forth Your plan for this country and work it out to Your good and for the good of the nation. I pray that Your righteous law and statures will be protected and that You will bring in the best man to see that through, In Jesus Name, Amen

Thread is permanently closed per the new SOP announcement:

Announcement:
From now through the end of the year we are going to disallow posts in prayer for political parties, politicians, campaigns, organizations, or similar posts.

These are very contentious issue this time of year and these types of "prayer requests" are drawing unneeded responses and debate. Threads of this nature will be closed or deleted, repeat offenders could receive a Staff Action.

Genuine prayers for health and safety are ok. For Example "Please pray for the health of xyz" would be fine.

I would also like to ask; as a CF Angel; prayers for CF's members and staff that we would strive to show each other and the un-saved the love of Jesus our Lord; at this time of turmoil in our nation

Hat off.
