So true, to take every thought captive. One thing is "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;" II COR 10:5
We're to take every thought captive.. When I first read that Scripture, I thought I can't. But even that thought is against Scripture . So learned I can with God's help. We replace some thoughts with Scripture.
Amen sister!Heart maintenance
"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." Luk 6:45
Today it's so easy to see their hearts in the news, media but I am responsible for my heart's condition with God's help.
I do believe Jesus was certainly giving strong recommendation to one particular purpose, and not so much a solemn affair, but engaged and vigilant, what we commonly refer to as - Pentecostalism!"Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give." (Matt 10:8).
"When angry, do not sin; do not ever let your wrath (your exasperation, your fury or indignation) last until the sun goes down." Eph 4:26
To apply this scripture, a couple agreed to BOTH apologize before 10 pm when they have any disagreement.
