The Campaign Legal Center, a nonpartisan campaign finance watchdog group, filed a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission Tuesday accusing the Trump campaign of “laundering” $170 million through numerous companies, some with connections to former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale.

“The Trump campaign and Trump Make America Great Again Committee disguised nearly $170 million of campaign spending by laundering the funds through firms,” the complaint claims.

It adds that the firms are “headed by Trump’s recent campaign manager, Brad Parscale, and/or created by Trump campaign lawyers.”

By failing to report payments to the campaign’s true vendors and employees, the Trump campaign and Trump Make America Great Again Committee have violated, and continue to violate, federal law’s transparency requirements,” the complaint asserts, adding that such activities “undermine the vital public information role that reporting is intended to serve.”

I have been reading and listening to Trump supporters make excuses for Trump's tax fraud and evasion for the past two days. Nothing makes a difference to them--and this won't, either.

It obviously made a difference to Brad Parscale, who assaulted his wife and barricaded himself in his house with a bunch of weapons and is now in a mental health facility, dealing with the emotional pain of having laundered money for a president he believed in who eventually fired him and will surely place all of the blame for the money laundering on Parscale as he tries to save himself.

I pray for Parscale's healing, along with healing for all Trump true believers who risked everything for him and are facing the truth now.

Is this something we should believe or should we wait to find out it isn't true?

Is there a potential tell-all book on the horizon?

It seems lots of people who have been swimming in trump's swamp have dragged themselves out of the slime and are willing to tattle on him and his presidency. I'm sure Parscale has some juicy tidbits he could divulge.

Not that it will make one iota of difference to trump supporters.

Imagine that, such a complaint just before an election, and against Trump no less.

I'm astonished! LOL
Imagine that, another legal complaint against trump in a decades old long history of legal complaints against trump. Thousands of legal complaints; ALL of them before the 2020 election.

It must be a 50 year long conspiracy just to make trump look bad just before the 2020 election no less. Astonishing, isn't it?

Why would Trump supporters need to make excuses for Trump's tax fraud when the NYT never suggested any such fraud being revealed by the IRS? What the NYT article headline and story are crying about are, as the headline reads "Trump's Taxes Show Chronic Losses and Years of Income Tax Avoidance" There is nothing illegal about avoiding paying full taxes! I do it, you do it and anybody who says they'd rather take no deductions and pay full taxes, well...they are stupid!

In the NYT article they say why he paid little our no taxes: "He had paid no income taxes at all in 10 of the previous 15 years — largely because he reported losing much more money than he made." I guess his detractors aren't smart enough to know that you don't pay income tax if you don't make any income!

He has been audited 10 straight years, seems impossible unless they are trying to nail you and you know they pick through his returns with a fine tooth comb! If they found anything we would know because of the leaks in the IRS which are illegally done!

You can't blame Trump for his lawyers and accountants seemingly being very efficient at what they do!

He wrote off 100% of his ridiculously lavish living expenses as business expenses.

He got the 72.9 million refund by writing off his casino losses, but the IRS subsequently learned he had received a 5% interest in a large casino operation that he didn't advise them of. Hence the potential for demanding it back--plus penalties.

As taxpayers, we all have skin in the game. The president has no skin in the game.

No federal employee could get a security clearance if he owed even a tiny portion of what Trump owes to foreign entities because of the potential for blackmail and coercion. He is a huge security risk.

So, he's either lying on his tax returns or ... he's been lying about how successful a businessman he's been over the years.

Yeah, go with that.

Courts often use What's called a preponderance of evidence.

The evidence is sufficient to convince all but his most diehard followers of his inability to lead, including weekly books with eyewitness testimony from family and advisors, the Times tax reports, the election watchdog group's report, and much more.

All that evidence available--despite the AG's and Senators' enabling, becoming virtual accomplices in hiding evidence.

You are a diehard follower. You are outnumbered.

And no proof.
Creationist Handbook, page 3. Ignore, dismiss, disparage all the evidence contradicting your firmly held belief.

Lots of proof. Just nothing you will accept.

If you will check the second link in the OP, you will see the actual complaint to the Federal Election Commission, should you care to look at the allegations.... Nah, guess you don't.

If you care to follow the conversation, you’ll notice I’m referencing specific comments by a specific poster, not the OP. But that’s ok, the internet is hard sometimes.

Avila, I gave already acknowledged you are an endangered species--a diehard Trump supporter.

I am not, nor have I even been a Trump supporter. I think he’s a lowlife jerk. Unlike Bush, I would never have a beer with the guy. There are 40-50 politicians I would vote for before Trump. None of them got the nomination. That should tell you how horrible I think Biden is. Biden would be a disaster. Trump was elected as an outsider. After 4 years in office he’s still an outsider. And that’s why he’ll be re-elected.

And your proof of this is what? If you do have proof of this then by all means contact IRS officials with this information!

And from what you say are decades old long history of legal complaints, he's been convicted of how many crimes?
You do realize this is not unique to Donald Trump? All wealthy people are a lot more subject to legal complaints! One wealthy person in a (Money) article complained “It’s not fun when, once a month, a stranger pops out of the bushes to say you have been served.”
10 Ways Rich People Are Worse Off Than You

While he ran for and after he became President I'm willing to guess most are from Trump hating, whining left wing liberals still upset about him becoming President!
