This is completely unsurprising to locals here. They have a rally scheduled here in Portland on Saturday.

Most of these guys aren’t from Portland, as far as I’ve seen. A lot of them live in Vancouver and other parts of Oregon.

And they’re not just in Oregon, we’re seeing them in other cities as well.

The Proud Boys are holding a rally in Portland I think I read it in a local news outlet online.

I am not familiar with the app but the authorities may be able to verify information. Much of it is what we have already seen evidence of, such as the use of paintballs, rhetoric regarding the fires, etc.

Yes, the chat logs aren’t surprising. They have already carried out much of what they’ve discussed. Which makes the call for more harm, and possibly deadly harm, really scary.

Having said that, stories can come from lots of places, and at least some of the discussed events already panned out as the chat logs are characterized.
