That's it? The outcome of the 'investigation' is that the son of a politician, making a free choice as a free US citizen to work abroad was 'problematic'? Of course it was - it's not great optics for any politician to have a child working for a company whose owner had been investigated for fraud. But - so what? I mean really what do you think is new or unusual here? How on earth would Obama, or anyone else with a functioning brain not be aware of the potential awkwardness of the situation? What would you expect them to do, tell a US citizen 'no you can't work where you want?' Come on M-Bob, please try and take these issues seriously at least.

If you need a comparison for clarity, Trump's university and so-called charitable foundation have been investigated for fraud, that doesn't look great either. The former was shut down and payouts made because it was nothing more than a scam, investigations into various other shady deals are ongoing. You're not seeing anything strange into your pushing one sketchy narrative while ramming your head in the sand over the other? Or is basing your ideas on real things just something you consider to be optional?

“People need to take a look at this report very carefully and understand what the ramifications are for electing Joe Biden as president,” Johnson said on a local radio program Tuesday, the day before he released the report.

Indeed, some of Johnson’s fellow Republicans have criticized the investigation as a political exercise, including Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah), who sits on the Homeland Security panel. Romney was the only Republican to vote to convict Trump during the Senate impeachment trial.

“It is not the legitimate role of government, for Congress or for taxpayer expense, to be used in an effort to damage political opponents,” Romney said last week.

Other Republicans have distanced themselves from Johnson’s actions, refusing to defend the investigation but declining to openly criticize it. POLITICO previously reported that Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.), the former chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, confronted Johnson privately about the probe, telling the Wisconsin Republican that it could aid Russia’s election-meddling efforts.

Still, Johnson has pressed on, as Trump’s allies pressured him to keep the heat on the Bidens. Johnson has also launched a separate investigation centering on the Obama administration’s actions during the presidential transition period, stemming from the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation in 2016 that targeted the Trump campaign.

The other major political Party outside of the Dems have done an investigation and come out with their findings. That's GENUINE NEWS! You may not agree with the finding but it is none the less GENUINE NEWS! So what the second major Party of the United States does shouldn't be mentioned by your media??? Then they're not in REAL TERMS a news organization but are merely an arm of the Democratic Party period. Now if their commentary hosts want to pick apart and marginalize the findings FINE.....that's commentary but what the Republicans have done IS REAL NEWS!

Some call CNN FAKE NEWS. It's not even so much that it's FAKE all the time but rather they're putting out a product which diminished news. A REAL news organization will at least put of what each party is doing and seeing it's the second major Party which controls the nation they can hardly hide behind an excuse that it's not significant to be reported. If the Green Party did something in politics one could argue it's not of significant value for any large scale number of viewers. Anything the Republican Party is doing IS NEWS.
