Trump: 1918 Spanish Flu 'probably ended' WWII, which happened two decades apart
So...the President Said this today:
President Donald Trump erroneously stated Monday that the Spanish Flu of 1918 ended World War II, incorrectly citing both the year the pandemic occurred and the year that the Second World War ended.

The events took place more than two decades apart.

"In 1917, they say, the great pandemic. It certainly was a terrible thing where they lost anywhere from 50 to 100 million people, probably ended the Second World War," Trump said. "All the soldiers were sick. That was a terrible situation."
tulc(heard the 1917 pandemic may have closed all the airports during the American Revolution as well)

I think that he meant WWI and not 2...

That would be a better assessment.

Not near as bad as Biden's gaffs where he looks drunk, stoned, or just plain out of his mind.
Got an example?

Well, since that also isn't true, he may have.

Or he's a lot worse than Biden is.
tulc(is kind of amused that no one seems able to talk about President Trump without Joe Biden being brought up as "being so much worse!!")

Well, maybe, but he didn't say the First World War he said the "Second World War". It's a little harder to screw it up that way.

Hmmm, do you mean the ones that right wingers doctored to make Biden appear drunk.

It doesn't matter about Biden. He has no plans of sticking around for a second term or less if he wins. That is why the prolonged vetting of the next President.. errr VP

It's not clear that Biden is going to win anything...in fact losing big time is a real possibility.

Now which VP candidate would want to be a part of a losing campaign when they are in successful political careers outside of being a part of a losing campaign?

And then there's the vetting process...
All of Joe's prospects got lots of bones buried in their closets. National politics brings them out.

Nope...
Two completely different blunders from two different sources...look at them.

One has him lying through his teeth and he doubled down on it...

There's another new one showing him from over 10 years ago and another one current...I couldn't find it though...it was really condemning.

Provide them and we'll fact check them, otherwise, don't make false allegations.

So neither are trustworthy
I'd say someone who's been involved in politics since the 70's who has only 5 pants on fire as opposed to someone who has been politically active for far less time and has managed to rack up 132, should be considered a lot more trustworthy.
