I've had it in my mind to write an original called, "Beautiful Distraction" based on 1 Corinthians 7:33. But I'd have to go with a Siouxsie and the Banshees and Prince song for now. In reality we'd prolly never dance to these on our wedding day but it's alright.

I like this song that the Orthodox Christians in your country sing at their weddings, even though I don't know the language. It just sounds nice, and I found a translation a little while ago that shows that it talks about the Church being trusted to the apostles, like how the couple are now trusted to each other, which I really like. I'm not sure if that's accurate or not (it's in Malayalam), but it's an edifying image. I would like a relationship like that!

Without question, it's Pannonica by Thelonious Monk. A piece he created in tribute to his patron, Pannonica Rothschild.

It has an old world feel. Soft and elegant. You visualize a pair gliding across the floor. Lost in each other's eyes. The timeless beauty captivated my senses when I heard it. I've wanted it as my wedding song since then.
