This is so true. It baffles the mind. "He doesn't mean it that way". "He never taught us to pray "Thy Kingdom Come" for any valid reason. He never meant His Kingdom is still coming in a literal way when He told Pilate that of present time His Kingdom is not of this world. The Revelation does not mean the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ when the 7th trumpet sounds. Apparently the seventh trumpet has already sounded?Yea, there is a millennial reign.
This 1000 year period is mentioned four times in four consecutive verses. Whats strange is some people are so blind they can't see it.
Revelation 20:4 KJV: And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Revelation 20:5 KJV: But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Revelation 20:6 KJV: Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Revelation 20:7 KJV: And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
I don't think the Lord could have made himself more clear.
How many more times would he have had to say a thousand years to get some of these people to believe him?
