Watkins was charged by Shawnee County District Attorney Michael Kagay with “Interference with a law enforcement officer, falsely report a felony intending to obstruct; voting without being qualified; and knowingly mark/transmit more than one advance ballot,” according to Shawnee County court records.

Voter fraud by individuals couldn't operate on scale large enough to influence most elections and if it did, that would require a level of organization that would be difficult to conceal!

Apart from gerrymandering the districts and voter suppression, most voter fraud would require insider interference either by the candidate and/or those actually administering the election!

Kansas Republicans on Tuesday ousted Rep. Steve Watkins, weeks after the freshman lawmaker was charged with voting illegally in a 2019 election and then obstructing the inquiry.

State Treasurer Jake LaTurner was projected to win the primary in Kansas’s 2nd Congressional District, according to the Associated Press.
