Cuomo says Trump is 'facilitating' coronavirus, urges him not to be 'a co-conspirator' of COVID-19

Cuomo is 100% correct on this. Trump needs to not be a co-conspirator with Covid. He needs to stop pretending it isn't there or isn't serious. He needs to acknowledge the reality of it and address it and become part of the solution.

From the article...
Cuomo went on to criticize the president for repeatedly stating that more testing “makes us look like we have more cases, especially proportionally, than other countries.”

Trump has mentioned in the past that the more people who test positive for the coronavirus, the worse it makes the crisis look, despite the fact that experts have said a robust testing system is necessary for the nation to fully get back to normal in the wake of the pandemic. The Trump administration, also, has been largely behind the push to quickly increase testing capacity in the U.S. as part of what Trump called a "phenomenal" response to the crisis.

“If we don’t test, then we won’t know. And if you don’t know, then you have no problem,” Cuomo said sarcastically. “That’s a great way to go through life, isn’t it?”

“No more cancer tests, no more mammograms, and we don’t want to know. No more prostate checks, that will end prostate cancer. No more HIV tests and that will solve the AIDS issue,” Cuomo continued. “No. Not knowing does not mean you don’t have a problem.”
Cuomo went on to say that if the president does not acknowledge the new surge in positive COVID-19 cases across the country, “then he is facilitating the virus. He is enabling the virus.”

“How did this become a political statement? This is common sense,” Cuomo said. “And let the president start by sending that signal very simply — just wear the masks.”

Cuomo then went on to blast Trump, claiming “he makes up facts” and “makes up science.”
“He wants to deny the COVID,” Cuomo said. “‘Well 'it’s like the flu.' 'It’s going to be gone by Easter'…He said all those things. None of them were true.

"Now we have a problem in 38 states because some people believed him," Cuomo added. “He is part of the current debacle that we are in."

Cuomo isn’t event 20% right on this.

until he is held accountable for sending the elderly to die in nursing homes instead of going to the Javier’s center or the medical ship, he is politician non grata.

You're wrong on that. CDC guidelines were to send covid patients to nursing homes. Federal government providing incorrect guidance because Trump is out of touch.

Cuomo is 100% right on this.

God Bless our Freedom loving Pro-Life President!
Given that a recent study projected that 33,000 American lives could be saved in the next 3 months if 94% of the population were to wear masks outside the home, one might assume that a "Pro-Life President" would consider all human life to be sacred and worth saving!

Apparently the loss of 33,000 lives, however, is a price that this President and some Republican Governors are more than willing to pay rather than suffer the indignity of leading by example by wearing a mask in public!

Is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of wearing a mask in public? Forbid it almighty Trump!

When this President and Cuomo were conducting their televised daily briefings, the American public had the opportunity to have a long, hard look at their leadership abilities!

The result was no contest - Cuomo went up in the polls while the President squandered much of his valuable time congratulating himself augmented with the bizarre medical advice of a self-described "stable genius" concerning the merits of hydroxychloroquine and the fine art of injecting disinfectants into the human body!

It appears that Cuomo, who has no other possible target above his own rank, will always blame Trump for what he, Cuomo, has mismanaged, whether such an accusation makes sense or not.

If we notice, this latest example hasn't made very many waves, even among the news people who normally can be counted upon to act alarmed at just about anything the President does. ;)

Javits Center isn’t large enough to hold all the elderly in Brooklyn let alone NYC. I live here. I usually find that people who don’t live here have no idea how big NYC is

Cuomo hasn’t mismanaged anything . A lot of people were unsure of how to manage this in the early days and Trump’s misinformation and deliberately chosen ignorance didn’t help . Cuomo decided to act and he made the right decision and also kept New Yorkers informed with as much accurate information from medical doctors and biologists as he had . Our Covid 19 numbers are going down and the NYC is gradually reopening .

Cuomo has mismanaged? That's a complete fabrication.

People have politicized this pandemic to the point that they're blaming Cuomo for "mismanagement" while the fact is that he has NY's numbers dropping after being hit first and hardest by the pandemic. What kind of person considers it mismanagement to have the best success against the pandemic???

New York’s coronavirus progress continues, with few deaths, sinking infection rates: Cuomo

Huh???? Every media source is reporting on it!!!! Reuters, Fox News, MSN, NBC, CBS News, ABC, Washington Times, etc....

Cuomo and de Blasio had to contend with planeloads of incoming passengers from Spain and Italy without those promised CDC tests, leaving them with no way of determining as to who was a carrier of COVID-19 - authorities were forced to wait until those infected started showing the symptoms days and weeks later!

International aviation is the responsibility of the Trump Administration - even when airports are located within their jurisdictions, governors and mayors lack the authority to regulate as to which incoming passengers can/can't enter their state and/or city!

He doesn't want to wear a mask because it would no doubt ruin his fake-tan orange glow!
