Yep. I don't see Americans clamoring to move to Muslim countries.People know who's the best. That's why so many try to get in.

Yet he's president and they still want to be here.
Please go check the border with Mexico. You have people from all over Latin America, as well as people coming as far as Africa and Asia trying to cross, trying to get in. You are telling me they couldn't find a better option between all those places and the US?When people immigrate to America, it's not necessarily because America is the "best". In some cases, it's simply a better option than where they are living.
There are no metrics by which the U.S. is considered the "best" as a country.
Correct, anything can be improved on.
But not acknowledging that something as it is is also damn good as it is, though it could be improved upon, just creates a climate of constant bitterness, and perpetuates a pathlogical never ending search for a perfection that does not exist.
Yep. Since you mentioned the Muslim ban. That's your baseline for comparison? Really?

Or they just have a poorly run website. You are talking about those that have no respect for our laws right? Why would Canada expect them to all of a sudden change and be productive members of society?I guess they didn't just expect that many people to want to leave America all at once.

I can't tell you how many people on my facebook timeline who claimed if Trump won back in 2016 they would leave America.Yet he's president and they still want to be here.
Illegals. Who else would leaving for Canada? If you were referring to a mass exodus of some other people then I apologize. I misunderstood your post.Huh? I'm not sure what you mean by "no respect for our laws" and whatever else you are going off on now.

They are STILL in the US.
No, you don't. We still have a Constitution which protects us from religious totalitarianism.
Sorry, I misunderstood. There was no implication in my post that I was referring to illegal immigrants. My post was more intended to be humorous than anything; I thought it was funny that Canada's immigration web site crashed with Trump's pending election.
I was just pointing out the irony of Trump trying to ban people coming to the U.S. and now the rest of the world is doing the same to America.
It seems like a fitting way to bookend Trump's presidency.
