Its been several days since the NYT reported on the Russian bounty targeting US troops in Afghanistan and the only response that the White House can muster is that the President and Vice President weren't informed!

This President has never criticized Putin openly - in marked contrast to his treatment of the leaders from other NATO states and his political opponents!

I might point out: Putin is (as far as I know) is about the only person to not receive one of President Trump "10 year old mean girl nicknames" many of his base love so much.

They said that there was not a consensus among the investigators that it was factual and normally they wouldn't bring it to the President before they were sure.
