or he leaves you because you didnt study enough?

Good PostHe certainly helped me in my job schooling. I guess it would depend on if your choice of major had His blessing or not.
If you are struggling to understand your classes, pray before arriving to them.
But you still have to "set your hand" to the effort.
“Now it shall come to pass,
if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God,
to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today,
that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.
And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you,
because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:
The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.
- Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.
- Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
- Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.
- Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses
and in all to which you set your hand,..." Deuteronomy 28:1-8 NKJV

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
the more effort i put on mathematics the more i fail
i ask god for help, nothing changes
At the very least, we can do "all things" that God has called us to.That has to be the most taken-out-of-context verse in the Bible. It does not mean that everyone can pass advanced calculus.
If its God's will then its not out of contextGod doesn't leave you because you didn't study enough.
But He may teach you the lesson that not studying leads to failure.
Well put.

What kind of mathematics is it? Have you asked anybody for help? Have you spoken to your teacher, lecturer, or tutor?

Jesus wants us to know He is closer than a brother.
Would a close friend help you, or smack you for not doing good enough?

I believe that God works in degrees and that He uses the least pain necessary to train us.i quite like that concept of God not being violent and smacking us..... i never did have children, but if i did, i would not go down that route of disciplining them. sorry, missing point of thread.
you seem to know a different God from mine. yours sounds nice!
It is called dyscalculia. If the math is required for that major and he can show that he has that condition, he can get extra assistance in that subject.or you can do what i did. claim you have a maths dyslexia or soemthing to get out of doing it....! lol

He doesn't have to smack us. He can let us feel the full brunt of the consequences (of our choices) if it will help us in the long run.

I have level 1 autism. Since getting saved, I have experienced deliverance and I highly recommend it where it is appropriate, but the root of my particular form of autism does not appear to be spiritual in nature.funny you mention that. my teachers thought i might legitimately have it. they wanted kme to get tested. never did though. wasnt allowed in our family. to worlly gettign advice from psychologists etc. they did try to exorcise me. didnt work. and then they tried the "repent and you will be healed" tactic. didnt work either. am just glad i never ever have to do any maths ever again.
