Hillary should get out more and see how many Americans are simply not protecting themselves, or others. She should be aiming her criticism at the bigger problem of the cavalier attitude of the people toward the pandemic.

It was about the OP. Hillary was criticizing Trump. Not based upon her own expertise, but based upon the opinions of experts in the field. I might need to explain what a "appeal to authority fallacy" is. An "appeal to authority" is usually fallacious when one appeals to experts not in the field. Trump tends to be his own "expert". If Hillary criticizes Trump based upon the opinion of experts that is valid. If Trump opposes her because there are "good people" out there that is a failure on his part.

Leaders need to set examples. Aiming her criticism firmly a Trump seems appropriate in that vein.
