Alright so ever since I became Christian I did my best to be modest.
And of course especially to Church.
But lately I’ve been wondering if I’m modest in the eyes of God.
According to this video, I’m not..
Even though I don’t wear leggings, or revealing stuff, I’m still immodest.
Because I show my calves in skirts. Someone in the comments said they can guarantee God is looking at me and seeing immodesty.
Another thing in these videos is head covering. I usually (or try to) cover with lace. They said lace isn’t a covering at all.
So basically a little bit of leg showing and you’re a goner.
And pretty much, that all I’m wearing is wrong. I felt so ashamed and am wondering is this how God sees me? Immodest?

Oh for Pete’s sake. Stay away from those videos. God is not seeing you as a sinner for showing your calves. Why are you obsessing on this so much?

Worry. I guess I see these people as “way-more-reverent-than-me”
And try to see if this is true or not

My personal opinion?

As long as your privates are adequately & loosely covered, I don't see how anyone could expect more, in the context of the Golden Rule. (That was our rule for our teenage daughters. If you can't comfortably wear it around Dad, don't wear it.)

Not all clothes are appropriate for all occasions, but I am talking casual minimum.

The only other concern is stance. Body language is not a strength of mine but I understand that a person can stand provocatively, even if adequately covered.

I've never seen baby cows in skirts...must be a sight to behold.
Ballerina cows.

But isn’t humility the better option? Not envying others you see as putting their godliness on display through their clothing? This is a double edged sword. Wouldn’t it be better to witness for the Lord through the fruitfulness of your actions instead of romanticizing head coverings, etc.? There is more to it than how we dress. In fact, it seems quite superficial to equate godliness with dress.

Have you never put the question to a priest?

Dressing as a Christian is common sense imo. It is not about special clothes to display our godliness. Unless you are Amish or whatever, it seems like attention seeking.

The second video has a picture of someone with a hairnet on.. what in the world is immodest about the top of someone's head?

It also shows someone who might be wearing a skirt down to their ankles ... there is a difference between attractive and immodest. Some folks get so turned around as to think that looking attractive "is" by definition immodest. When you see someone running down the street in normal running shorts that are not short-short you think "sports" and "athletics" .. and that is pretty much it.

If they put a skirt on top of those shorts that goes down to just below the knee , and walk normally instead of jog -- does it suddenly become "immodest"??

From an Orthodox perspective, wearing revealing cloths (both men and women) is immodest. You don't know how God sees you, and He definitely doesn't see you the way you wonder. My honest answer to you is, dress the way as you like, your style, obviously it doesn't have to be too revealing since you're concerned about that. But if you want to wear revealing cloths, then do know that you're gonna bring a lot of unwanted attention, and you don't wanna know what every guy on the sidewalk thinks of you. God won't stop you to dress the way you want.

Seriously if you're not seeking attention, then find a style that's not revealing but yet appeals to your taste. Keep a low profile. You're a woman, and you should know this better than me, that women get hit more than guys in general.

Also if you want to wear a head covering, try to combine it with a style you'd like.

Christianity is not a contest on you appears to be the most reverent through their clothing of all things. It’s just being legalistic and another form of showboating imo. If you feel called to it, fine. But it can also become unhealthy. We have Scripture that talks of those that love to display their religious finery.

One of the churches that I attended the women wore biblike dresses of the empire waist sort. Usually they went to just below the knee and were an easy pattern for those on a tight budget because it could be made sleeveless to fit the season. However the ‘uniform’ was very much of the boring nature but was suitable for church, much like a catholic uniform in that their was no room for competition. That was done by the young men on the podium and voicing issues was their uniform of the day and it changed slowly yet their dress was the same as it was for hundreds of years.

First of all, "modesty" is not primarily about sexuality. It is about not attracting undue attention to yourself.
Here are some ways the word can be used:

They live in a modest house.
He earns a modest living driving a bus.
Her achievements in the tennis world were modest.
The returning war hero modestly insisted that he hadn't done anything special.

So, if the people around you don't think that you're trying too hard to draw attention to yourself, then both your clothes and your behavior can be considered modest. (You can be immodest by bragging about yourself all the time.) Plus, the rules of modesty vary according to where you are. What you wear for a walk in the park is usually different from what you wear to work or at a fancy restaurant. A swimsuit with a turtleneck and long sleeves and legs would almost certainly cause people to stare at you, which is the exact opposite of being modest.

Also, the rules of modesty do change over time, whether church people realize it or not. I'm pretty sure that the clothing of a typical, very modest, minister's wife in the 1950s would have been considered scandalous at a church meeting in the 1890s, what with her nylon-covered lower legs showing for all the world to see. But in 1955 that was considered absolutely proper.

Finally, when the Apostle Peter counsels women to dress modestly, he does not say that they should cover themselves more completely. He says that they should avoid wearing fancy hairdos and expensive clothing and jewelry. Such clothing was totally about attracting attention and showing off one's "superior" status. It was the attracting excessive attention that Peter was talking about.

Amen and thanks, those who are “covered always everyday all day” will say, “evangelize why you dress that way.” But I agree with you more, to be honest it’s kind of cultish to have a one style fits all. The only thing all Christians should do is as you say, modesty, but not “excessive immodest modesty”
