In response to the crisis we are facing, Kamala has called for consumer protections like a stop on negative credit reporting, foreclosures, evictions, seized wages, and car repossession.

And she’s taking a step further, because she knows we need to be doing more.

That’s why she is calling for the suspension of credit card interest, fees, and penalties until at least four months after this crisis is over.

Really. Sigh. Really. Cause I did the same thing, but I'm not famous for it. I did a lot of odd things as a child that worried my mother. One of them was declaring my bedroom a sovereign nation. I wrote a Constitution, made a flag, the whole deal.

In high school I declared an opposing administration to the officially elected cheerleaders and football captains who were our class officers. I got two of my friends to participate, and we called ourselves the Three Ministers. I was Minister of Finance, and so I ran a stock market in the library before school each morning. At it's peak, I had about a dozen people participating ... out of a school of about a thousand students ... so ... not very impressive I guess.
