There are false or twisted teachings that are the literal opposite of these verses, yet most Christians would rather believe those liberal teachings. Should they have the right to call themselves Christians? Or will Jesus say to them, "I never knew you."

1 John 3:5-9
5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

1 John 5:18
18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.

John 8:32, 34-36
32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” ...
34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Romans 8:1-9
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

Romans 3:
30 since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. 31 Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.

Mark 16:16-18
16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

John 15:7
7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

1 John 3:21-22
21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. 22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

1 John 3:24
24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

2 Peter 1:5-9
5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.

Acts 2:38
38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

How do you counsel a Christian struggling with sin.

A Christian who repeatedly falls into sin.

Is he a Christian?v

1john1:8 clearly says if we claim to be without sin we decieve ourselves and the truth is not in us.

He will say that to Christians who lived without God in their life, who did not care for those in trouble.

How do you explain it says the opposite of the other verses in 1 John? The next verse is how to become a Christian, so in context, what does that say about the person in 8?

Is anyone besides Christ born without sin? Do we need Christ or not?

That depends on if they are core verses.

I just can't say that, I'm sure about that?
Mainly because, it's not found in the bible.
Now many Christians may not understand certain verses?
That I think puts a much different light on it.

That depends on if they are core verses.
For salvation, the core is to believe in Jesus Christ, in His death and resurrection.

Christian basic doctrines are in creeds like the Apostolic and Nicean creed.

Most Christians in history did not even had any Bible, so I would not make any such additional requirements.

Psalms 130:1 Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord;
2 Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to my cry for mercy.

3 If you, Lord, kept a record of sins,
Lord, who could stand?
4 But with you there is forgiveness,
so that we can, with reverence, serve you.

5 I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits,
and in his word I put my hope.
6 I wait for the Lord
more than watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning.

Lamentations 3:21 This I recall to my mind,
Therefore I have hope.
22 The Lord’s lovingkindnesses [f]indeed never cease,
For His compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I have hope in Him.”
25 The Lord is good to those who wait for Him,
To the [g]person who seeks Him.
26 It is good that he waits silently
For the salvation of the Lord.

Psalms 32:2 Blessed is the one
whose sin the Lord does not count against them
and in whose spirit is no deceit.

1 Jn2:

25This is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life.
26These things I have written to you concerning those who are trying to deceive you.
27As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.

How do you counsel a Christian struggling with sin.

Sit down with him; and open up your Bible to Romans 7. Read it to him; and explain to him that he's not alone. After he understand that; explain that none who believe are alone; because Yahshua is always with them.

Since the original Christians didn't have a "the bible" and God shows no favoritism.

I think the ideology that we need to believe a set doctrine to be saved is neither here nor there.

I think the part where it is said that He is able to keep us from falling and all that.

It is not written that "we" are able to keep ourselves from falling.

However, since an H and a W can look kind of similar in some font sets, I can imagine the common confusion.

The original believers in Yahshua, had the Torah every Sabbath, a society that would enforce it; and preachers that were hand picked by Yahshua himself. Good times!

Sounds like re-establishing the order that crucified Him.

No thanks.

Matthew 7:21-23 King James Version (KJV)
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
