SUMMARY OF MAIN EVENTS

The Peace Treaty - Adar

The month of Adar is the time of rejoicing of deliverance from enemies. It is the last month of the Jewish year and the happiest in the calendar. This rejoicing will be after God deals with the Russian Federation on Israel`s mountains.

The Temple Sacrifices - Cheshvan

The month of Cheshvan is the only month that does not have a holiday but is reserved for the time of the Messiah to inaugurate the third temple. This will be appropriate for Israel to prepare by starting their sacrifices.

The Temple Desecration - Tammuz

The month of Tammuz is when Israel mourns the destruction of its temple. Sadly this will be when the anti-Christ sets up the Abomination in the temple, thus desecrating it.

Jesus` Return - Kislev

The month of Kislev is a time of celebrating the defeat of the armies of Babylon who laid siege to Jerusalem. This is exactly what will happen when all the armies of the world surround Jerusalem and the Lord delivers them from all their enemies. It is celebrated as the Festival of Lights. Jesus is the Light of the world.

Israel Mourns - Tevet

When the Lord reveals Himself to the people of Israel, in Jerusalem, they are devastated for they realise as a nation they had rejected their Messiah. Thus they go into a month of mourning, each tribe family by themselves.

The Temple Cleansing - Tevet/Shevat

The month of Shevat makes the beginning of a `new year` for trees. It is the season in which the earliest-blooming trees emerge from their winter sleep. This can only happen when the Lord brings forth the living waters from under the Mount of Olives, bringing life giving water throughout the land. This water then will be used to cleanse the temple, priests and vessels.

Celebrating - Adar 15th The month of Adar is the time of celebration of victory over their enemies. Most appropriate for the Lord`s deliverance of the nation of Israel.

You don't list Hanukkah. It is the Festival of Lights.
It is the on the 25th day of Kislev, in 2020 commencing in the evening of the 10th December.

The Prophet Haggai mentions the 24th day of Kislev 3 times. This should get our attention!
Haggai 2:20-22 goes on to say; I shall shake the heavens and the earth.....I shall overthrow kings, break the power of the heathens and destroy their military strength. Isaiah 34:2, Hosea 2:18, Amos 5:9, Jeremiah 25:32, Psalms 76:3

On the day before a Hanukkah, the Lord will light up the world Himself!

Hi Keras,

Actually I did mention it. Take another look at the month of Kislev.

9. Kislev - Hanukkah (Nov/Dec. Dedication of the Temple)

Chanukah begins on the eve of Kislev 25 and continues for eight days. On the civil calendar, it generally coincides with the month of December.

Chanukah is the Jewish eight-day, wintertime “festival of lights,” celebrated with a nightly menorah lighting, special prayers and fried foods.

The Hebrew word Chanukah means “dedication,” and is thus named because it celebrates the rededication of the Holy Temple

In the second century BCE, the Holy Land was ruled by the Seleucids (Syrian-Greeks), who tried to force the people of Israel to accept Greek culture and beliefs instead of mitzvah observance and belief in G‑d. Against all odds, a small band of faithful Jews, led by Judah the Maccabee, defeated one of the mightiest armies on earth, drove the Greeks from the land, reclaimed the Holy Temple in Jerusalem and rededicated it to the service of G‑d.

When they sought to light the Temple's Menorah (the seven-branched candelabrum), they found only a single cruse of olive oil that had escaped contamination by the Greeks. Miraculously, they lit the menorah and the one-day supply of oil lasted for eight days, until new oil could be prepared under conditions of ritual purity.

Jesus's first coming coincided with the spring feasts.

The confirming of the Mt Sinai covenant by the Antichrist, if he holds to the times and seasons (which in Daniel 7 says he tries to change) initially, will make the big speech required by Moses from the place of God's choosing (the Jews take to be the temple mount) on the feast of tabernacles - a fall feast.

Based on Deuteronomy 31:10, which Moses set to be on the feast of tabernacle, when he established the 7 year cycle.

Which would put Jesus's Second Coming to coincide with the Day of Atonement, feast of tabernacles - fall feasts. Hanukah, although a Jewish holiday, is not part of the Mt. Sinai covenant.

Actually I did mention it. Take another look at the month of Kislev.
But you mistakenly listed it as Jesus Return.
I see Tabernacles as the Day of the Return. The Hebrew word translated as tabernacle, literally means 'God with us'.
Which would put Jesus's Second Coming to coincide with the Day of Atonement, feast of tabernacles - fall feasts.
Which one do you mean Douggg?
Two separate days; Atonement = Yom Kippur, September 28. Tabernacles = Sukkot, October 3 2020.

Hi Douggg,

I agree Jesus fulfils those feasts. Notice in Rev. 8 and through to Rev. 15: 5 - 8, we read of the Temple and the Lord officiating there. Notice the glory cloud filled the Temple, (symbolically) as on the Day of Atonement. Thus they represent the Lord`s work for Israel during the tribulation.

Yes: All the 'Feasts' will be celebrated in the Millennium.
The 3 spring feasts are fulfilled by Jesus first Advent and they are still observed. The fall feasts will be fulfilled, the last one - Tabernacles at Jesus' Return.
Their continued observance is as you point as in Zechariah 14:19.

I am not saying 2020 is the year. But if it is, then the 7 years would begin on the feast of tabernacles October 3, 2020. Then 7 years later on the Day of Atonement, September 28, would be the Day that Jesus returns in this example.

Keep in mind, in actuality, that there are a leap month (for leap years) involved. And a leap year in the Jewish calendar has 13 months (the extra month called Adar 2) and occurs 7 times in a 19-year cycle. The spacing of those leap years varies. Sometimes every 2 years, sometimes every 3 years.

So not knowing what year the confirmation of the covenant takes place, it is not possible to factor in the leap year extra leap month(s) ahead of time.

The timeframes we are given, like the 1260 days and the 42 months, are there to understand how everything will fit together as far as sequence of events. The exact calendar day - we cannot determine because we don't know when on the 19-year cycle the confirmation of the covenant will be made.

But in a general understanding of when the 7 years begin, and when Jesus returns. The fall feasts.

Feast of tabernacles (Sukkot) - the beginning of the 7 years.
Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) - Jesus returns.

The fall feasts are a theory btw, not an absolute guarantee because the little horn person seeks to change the times and seasons in Daniel 7. We don't know when during his rule, he tries to do that. At the start? in the middle somewhere? or close to the end?

But if he sticks to what Moses required, it will be on the feast of tabernacles, that he gives the speech to the nation of Israel confirming the covenant, for the 7 year cycle. From the temple mount.

Thanks, you set out your beliefs clearly.
The treaty as described in Daniel 9:27, may happen on Tabernacles, as it will be exactly 7 years later that Jesus will Return and fulfil it.

The great and terrible Day of the Lords fiery wrath, Joel 2:30-3, Rev 6:12-17, is the next prophesied event, which I believe will happen on Kislev 24, as Haggai 2 tells us. The other possibility is Yom Teruah; the Day of Trumpets.

Hi keras,

We need to remember that when the Lord comes to deliver Israel that the people of Israel do not know who He is. Then when the Lord goes over to Jerusalem and reveals Himself to them that their eyes are opened. They then go into mourning, each family group by itself. This is for quite a while. (Zech. 12: 10 - 14)

Thus they are NOT celebrating the feast of tabernacles. Also the temple they have been using will be cleansed, and then they will celebrate Purim on the 15th of Adar. After that month is the New Year and the beginning of the millennium, and that is when they will celebrate the feast of Tabernacles.

They will celebrate that great feast for they will then have built the third temple as Ezekiel tells us (Ez. 40 ff) and the glory of God will come down upon the sanctuary , (Ez. 43: 2 - 7). Then Israel can say `God dwells with us, tabernacles with us.`

`the glory of the Lord came into the temple ......this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet and I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever.` (Ez. 43: 4 & 7)

I do NOT believe in a pre-trib 'rapture'.
Others here will attest to my many refutations of that false theory, over many years.

The Lord's holy people, every faithful Christian, will travel to and gather in all of the holy Land, soon after all that area is cleared and cleansed by the Sixth Seal devastation. Ezekiel 34:11-16, Isaiah 35

What you should see and understand, is in the end times, the people in the Land of Israel, are not the ones who are there now. 20 plus prophesies plainly tell of their Judgement and virtual demise. Only a remnant will survive. Romans 9:27
The idea of a general Jewish redemption is not Biblical. It the Israelites of God, the Overcomers for Him, who will occupy the holy Land during the end times.
Proved by Daniel 7:25 and Revelation 13:7, where they are there, when the AC takes over for the final 3 1/2 years before Jesus Returns.

You apparently don't realize it yet, but ANY gathering to the holy land PRIOR to the "day of the Lord", which is the LAST DAY of this present world, will NOT be a gathering to Christ Jesus. Instead, it will be a gathering of the dead carcase to wheresoever the fowls are gathered to feast (Luke 17:35-37).
