Because Second Life has i think people who need the word of God in their lives. I feel there are many people on it who are hurting and need Jesus in their lives to make themselves feel better. Plus many are mean, but i wonder how many would stop being mean if they found Jesus.

Interesting point. Sharing your faith in a virtual world is something which we may face ourselves dealing with more and more. I don't see anything wrong with it, really. After all there are real people behind these virtual ones and they need Jesus as much as anyone, as you point out. I would say you should present yourself the same in Second Life as you would in real life. Namely, walk in the Spirit and let Him guide your actions and words.

I haven't tried sharing my faith there, but I definitely have in online chats and forums.

People need Jesus in order to be forgiven and not face the wrath of God. Their feeling better has little to do with their eternal well being.

BTW, what is Second Life?

A online virtual world.

At one time or another it actually was thought to be the future of the internet or at least what i have read from back when it first started. One time many businesses like IBM and universities held meetings in it.

When I was playing SL years ago I stumbled across a church someone set up. The guy was there to preach and to talk to people. Not sure if the guy was serious or just someone trying to mock christianity. Regardless, its a good idea given how dark somethings are in SL.

Is it the house of prayer?

I know that one is supposedly a real life church.
