Jesus fulfilled ALL law.
How can you have any sort of sensible debate when the plain statements of the bible are cast aside by any means possible, however fanciful
Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised,Christ will be of no value to you at all.
What exactly do you mean by that?
Yes ... the cerimonial laws (ordinances) were done away with ... the attached shows comparison of the laws ... the law (written by Gods own hand) are eternal and have and will always be in effect. Jesus fulfilled ALL law ... and through Him working in the believer (throughout their lifetime on earth) He helps us to keep the 10 ... we will and do stumble here in there .... but He will complete His work in the believer.
Philippians 1:6
As you seem unable to grasp what is written, Paul did not circumcise Timothy for any other reason than because of the Jews in the area he was going to preach
Matthew 5:17
New Living Translation
“Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose.
Through His accomplishments is the only pathway to salvation ... because of His accomplishments .... He fulfilled everything. We will be reconciled with God through Him.
When we receive Him and abide in Him .... He transforms our lives throughout our lifetime here on earth. It is a life long process and He will finish His work.
Philippians 1:6
New Living Translation
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
Not at all, you should know me better than that, friend.
I have just put all the pre-Christ feasts, including the Sabbath, as being fulfilled in Christ. He is who I observe EVERYDAY.
Paul is talking about the oral law in Galatians 5:4."You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace." If by my own works I try and justify myself, then what is grace for, what do I need Yeshua for??? THAT is what Paul meant. Circumcision in and of itself is nothing wrong.

You are letting yourself down. Timothy was not circumcised because Paul believed he should be according to what God wanted, but because of Jews, so they were not offended, two different thingsSo then Yeshua is of no use to Timothy?

Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. 13 Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh. 14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation.Do you understand what that means? Read the next sentence! "You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace."
You start with a set position, and it does not matter how many very plain statements you are given from the new covenant writers that oppose your belief, you simply will go to any lengths to try and overturn them. I will stick with scripture, you stick with doctrine that seeks to overturn the plainly written word. It is made very, very clear why Timothy was circumcised. You're calling Paul a hypocrite again. I reject that.
If Paul was going to cave to the Pharisees; he would have circumcised Titus, and saved himself a trip to Jerusalem.
If Paul was going to cave to the Pharisees; he would have gone to his death preaching the truth.
Where in the Decalogue, does it say abstain from eating blood?
How about being a drunkard?
How about Homosexuality?
I don't see what Yahshua said was the greatest commandment in there either. Are you correcting Yahshua?
Therein lies your answer. You can't love love with all your heart; unless you listen to all that he commands you?
(CLV) 1Jn 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we may be keeping His precepts. And His precepts are not heavy,
15 Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation.
I am asserting what the bible very plainly states, Timothy was circumcised because of the Jews in the area. Are you asserting that Paul circumcised Timothy against his will and without faith?
It seems that the message of the Jerusalem council has evaded you.
I hope that you are not out there forcing people's heads under water in the name of YHWH, Yahshua, and the Ruach Ha'Kodesh.

You're using a faulty translation.
Here's a literal translation:
(CLV) Ga 6:15
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision is anything, but a new creation.
You see. if you are of faith, thereby reborn as a new creation; it does count for something, much like Baptism does.
Circumcision seals the covenant of Abraham.
Watch out for those dogs, those evildoers, those mutilators of the flesh. 3 For it is we who are the circumcision, we who serve God by his Spirit, who boast in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh – 4 though I myself have reasons for such confidence. Phil2:2&3Well there's you problem. You're using a faulty translation.
