Donald Trump is far from perfect. Indeed, some of his positions are questionable. For example, he wants to keep people out with a wall. He has called immigrants criminals, drug dealers, and rapists, which is defamatory at best and xenophobic at worst.

Despite Trump’s imperfections, I’ll be casting my vote for him during the 2020 Presidential Election. Why would I vote for him if I think some of his views are dubious? Because Trump is pro-life.

It cannot be understated that abortion is the number one political issue of our time. Being in the womb is arguably the most dangerous place in America today. Did you know that one in four pregnancies ends in abortion? That means millions of unborn babies are having their lives snuffed out. Even sadder is the fact that so many people these days believe it’s merely a lifestyle “choice.” But it isn’t a choice—it’s taking a human life.

Joe Biden is a staunch supporter of so-called choice, which is to say he is pro-abortion. No matter how good of a politician Biden might be, I cannot in good conscience vote for someone who would allow abortion to continue unabated. Roe v. Wade must be overturned.

What about you? Will you vote for Trump, which is a vote for life?

If he gets re-elected I would presume his need to please evangelicals will fall near his natural faith levels. Nonexistent.

It will just be golf and whatever money he can transfer to his progeny from corrupting the office for another four years.

Maybe few personal vendettas thrown in if it rains at Mar A Lago or he sprains his wrist.

I'm not a US citizen (I do love the place, so never say never), and in the UK I don't generally vote, but seeing how this world has been turned on its head within the last few weeks, I'm probably going to start taking politics very seriously. In fact, I'm going to study for the next five years just so I CAN cast an informed vote when it's time again.

So, with that said, I wouldn't vote for anything until I've drilled deeply into the history of American politics - and kept a consistent finger on the pulse of this ever-changing climate. To reasonably cast a vote, one should understand every nuance of WORLD politics and know exactly why you're voting. Don't just fall for buzz words and theatrical rallies - you're better than that.

Follow the parties on social media, watch the press conferences, dig into the backstories of these people and come to a well educated determination.

I don't like Trump at all. But one thing I can say is that he DID write and fulfil his own personal to-do list and checked every item off flawlessly. Is that translatable? Is it even relevant? That's for you to decide.

He's not "Pro-Life" personally. So resting on that as a litmus test is not a good policy.

Politicians aren't elected to stop abortion. Abortion is chosen to elect politicians. Either way it is like drinking poison, either in a glass or through a straw. Two choices, same poison. There is a reason the Kingdom and the world of man are of opposite nature.

Are not.

1 Peter 2:13-17
Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.

1 Timothy 2:1-2
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.

Romans 13:1-14
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience. ...

Titus 3:1
Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,

1 Peter 2:13-14
Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good.

Romans 13:7
Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.

John 19:11
Jesus answered him, “You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above. Therefore he who delivered me over to you has the greater sin.”

Psalm 22:28
For kingship belongs to the Lord, and he rules over the nations.

Romans 13:4
For he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer.

1 Timothy 2:1-3
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,

Proverbs 21:1
The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will.

Daniel 2:21
He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding;

What are you talking about? Trump says he is pro-life. He has also appointed pro-life supreme court justices.
uhmm...he said what ever they told him he had to say to get those single issue voters to vote for him and he appointed who ever they told him to appoint so he could get back to playing golf, watching tv and tweeting.

Trump blows the way the wind blows. If Pro-Choice groups rally as one unit, Trump will switch depending on what his advisors declare will gain him the most votes. I'm just warning you ahead of time. He's only interested in power.

Yeah, the guy outbidding the states on medical supplies during an epidemic and suggesting that maybe they should have ordered ventilators years ago is totally pro-life. There is nothing at all mercenary about anything he says or does here.

Nobody is pro-abortion, not me and not Biden. There is one thing that a great many people don’t understand about being pro-choice. You do not have to morally agree with abortion to be pro-choice. That is why it is not called pro-abortion. It is an understanding that you can’t make that choice for someone else.

As for Donald Trump, I could never vote for anyone so intellectually and morally bankrupt. I will continue to support policies proven to reduce the incidence of abortion.

I disagree with your rationalization. There is no excuse for taking another human life.

That sounds like a conspiracy theory. Are you aware that Trump appointed pro-life supreme court justices? That alone testifies to his pro-life views.

And you think he did this because of his sincere beliefs without making any calculation how many evangelicals would remember this when the next election came around?

Do you genuinely believe Trump would have appointed a Democratic politician to the Supreme Court? Do you think that is what he really wanted? I don't think so.

Possibly but it can just as easily it attest to his ability to cater to his voter base.

Like I just said, do you think Trump actually wanted to appoint a Democratic judge to the Supreme Court, but only reluctantly appointed a Republican? That sounds like a conspiracy theory.
