NY Governor Cuomo gave a new update on the Coronavirus just now; and it was the most informed and even uplifting news conference I have heard from a politician about it.
I dunno but is the CV an argument against having 'mega-cities'?
Disease in general is an argument against cities. The more concentrated the population, the easier it is for any disease to spread. However, the benefits of cities for commerce and culture are clear as well, and the risk of disease can be mitigated with proper public health policies.I dunno but is the CV an argument against having 'mega-cities'?
Really?.....doesn't seem that way.....unless you are saying NY & NYC did not follow proper public health policies?risk of disease can be mitigated with proper public health policies.
1. "Mitigated" is not a synonym for "eliminated."Really?.....doesn't seem that way.....unless you are saying NY & NYC did not follow proper public health policies?

Never said it was (your supposition). Would you claim it has been mitigated?1. "Mitigated" is not a synonym for "eliminated."

Never stated otherwise; AAMOF most policies come from local sources....
Then try not to make broad public health claims....without citations of course.....3. How should I know? I'm not a health inspector.
It could definitely be worse, so yes.Never said it was (your supposition). Would you claim it has been mitigated?

Thanks, now I can't unsee it.Did you intend your avatar to look like a goofy face? That's all I see when I look at it.
Being in the NYC metro area I have been hearing mostly from Cuomo and he's been doing a great job every step of the way. He is leading on this issue and giving hope to us. This was indeed a good press conference that you posted.NY Governor Cuomo gave a new update on the Coronavirus just now; and it was the most informed and even uplifting news conference I have heard from a politician about it.
The contrast between the Trump and the Cuomo briefings is illuminating - with the President its "amateur hour" with a rambling, unfocused response which one suspects is a thinly-veiled infomercial for his re-election campaignNY Governor Cuomo gave a new update on the Coronavirus just now; and it was the most informed and even uplifting news conference I have heard from a politician about it.
You're obviously not from NY.Andrew Cuomo - the only people who don't like him are New Yorkers - statewide.
There seems to be a behind the scenes push for him to step into candidate role - but I personally think he doesn't have a snowballs chance.
