Quote from Scripture ? Yahweh gave Instructions clear and simple to His people.....
Which Instruction(s) are you referring to ?
Never mind. I assumed that OT law had health laws, but i guess i am wrong.

If you are old or ill the way to overcome it is to wear a mask or isolate yourself. People might perish if they dont follow those guidelines. What other answer is there? Are you saying the Church can cure the corona virus?
Partly true.
Keep seeking for the known and proven ways to overcome a virus.
Jesus did not say seek and stop.
He says seek and keep seeking, AND YOU SHALL FIND. (not mine, not man's way, but Jesus' Promise)

A lot of people, most on earth perish , as Jesus says.

Just wrong implications and assumptions.

To know what Yahweh says, read His Word. And keep asking Him. (as Jesus says in the NT)
Let me not assume again, let me ask you, Do you yourself have any answers about how to protect ourselves from this virus? Are you saying isolation is wrong? If so what answer do you have?

Easy - but it is becoming more censored daily.... duckduckgo search "Europe clinics virus vitamin c" to see what was effective in the last century against all known viruses , and no virus , not even the zika, was a worry at those clinics.
Isolation is often called for by Yahweh, for prayer, and for other reasons. I think leprosy called for some isolation, didn't it, in Yahweh's Instructions.

If the known and proven things that destroy viruses safely becomes popular, they become banned by the fda/ pharma controls.

I wonder if portable bidet bottles will become a thing now.

You sound like my son. When I told him this morning that I was hoping our stores still had toilet paper for sale since I'm almost out he was all "Mom. You don't need toilet paper you've got water!" Lol.. so I was like, "but I've gotten used to toilet paper and i kind of like it!

Haha. I bought the last package in the store, 6 rolls that was being guarded by an employee as if his life depended on it. He didn't "find" them until I told him we were almost out.. lol...

I finally found a gallon of milk. None of the grocery stores had any, but a local Walgreen's had some.

Our church is distributing its toilet paper supplies to members in need. I'm thinking some other churches could probably do the same.

To be honest, since we really can go without toilet paper if need be, a more important concern is formula for infants.

I found out today that due to panic buying we have a young mother in town having to feed her infant milk instead of formula because the stores in town are literally completely out.

If panic buying continues, this may end up the real issue as there will be some mothers unable to find formula..

I got these statistics off of Yahoo news. I calculated the mortality rate using their numbers. This excludes people who are currently sick and have neither recovered nor died. I'm suspicious of China's numbers, naturally.

I must say the mortality rate is higher than I expected.

When I was an infant, my mother put whatever the rest of the family was eating through a blender and fed that to me, instead of formula. None of us ever had formula. I don't know anything about raising kids, but I do wonder if this might work for others.

She probably breastfed until you and your siblings were old enough for food, that's what I did but most young mothers today seem to put their babies on formula instead of breastfeeding.

I used to make my own baby food too when my kids were little. We were more self sufficient back then I think.

There are published quite a number of good (and also other bad ones) books and recipes for making healthy food for babies. Healthier , by many claims, than commercial baby products. (and often a lot less expensive)

I don't like to be pessimistic but it seems that if an elder is exposed no amount of prevention seems to be working.
Sadly, not even prayer but hopefully everyone will still lean on the Lord.
God save us all!

There is the potential of stores being closed. TP and water are two things with few substitutes. If you don't have TP you can't flush what you wipe with. You have to save or store it. The smaller stores and grocery stores seem to have plenty.

Why WATER? What are people afraid is going to happen to our tap water? People are buying more water than I used for two weeks of no electricity or plumbing after Hurricane Ike. (even then, I didn't buy water...but rather filled containers with tap water...bought a new plastic garbage can and filled it up for force flush the toilet and to do shallow baths.)

Walmart was empty when I went with my daughter...except the salad dressing aisle. I had choices of which ranch dressing I wanted. LOL.

The greed and "looking out for number one" is unbelievable. People hoarded the special respiratory masks the hospitals need to care for these patients. We are getting issued one a day...To be safe and effective, they are supposed to be thrown away after taking them off every time. Putting them in a plastic bag for reuse means the virus is likely to be transmitted to the side of the mask by our mouth. The general public shouldn't even be using these masks. To be effective, they need to be fit tested and put on properly. The last fit test I had took twenty minutes.

Actually, older people on the cruises mostly recovered just fine and many didn't even catch it...even when their spouse did. It is people who have compromised immune systems and other health issues like heart disease or COPD that are likely to progress to pneumonia and die. These are the same people who fear the flu because it can kill them too.

And the prevention is to reduce the chance of being exposed....there is no treatment for this virus yet. But most people don't take the treatment for other viruses either.

The only reason I can see for water would be the electricity going off the grid, which is unlikely...

I hope things dont get worse, such as massive food shortages. You might need a gun to protect your home.

Since the majority of people who get sick with this virus are going to recover and be fine, I don't foresee any scenarios in which society collapses. The stores will still have food even if it's not always the particular food you want at the time. I went to grocery store today to see if they had any oranges and ended up getting tangerines instead. Instead of frozen brocolli, I ended up with a mixture of brussel sprouts and other vegetables. I like broccolli better than brussel sprouts, but in either case, it's still nutritious food.

Someone posted on Nextdoor today in a panic because they were down to one roll of toilet paper and couldn't find any anywhere. Some people made recommendations of where to look a couple others offered to give her a few rolls. She did end up finding some later in the day.

I'd be truly surprised to find us in some mass anarchy situation over this particular virus. All it will be is a lifestyle change for a few weeks, which may be hard for a lot of people, but not even close to catastrophic.

LOL I bought toilet paper a couple weeks ago when I first heard of a hint of panic over it because I also like it. BUT I am prepared to be without it. You sound like you have a wise son. :)
