Romans 3:26 (NASB)
for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

“He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus”

That the righteous demands of the law, towards the sinner, were fulfilled by God Himself on behalf of the sinner who would have faith in Jesus.

For the law of righteousness has a just and legal claim on all sentient beings before God. All creatures that have the ability to choose their own nature’s are subject to the same law of righteousness. Which law God Himself is subject to...This law of righteousness says, that without equivocation, all souls, high or low, that sin, shall die... Across the board, to all creatures the same, the soul that sins, that soul shall die...

So for God to be the just and justifier, He has to fulfill the law in each and every life...There was only one way that God could do this and that was if He tasted death for every man... And this is exactly what He did on the cross...By taking us to death with Him, He lawfully and legally fulfilled the laws demand concerning each and every one that would by faith be joined with Him in His death...Thereby freeing the one from the laws legal demand that the soul that sins should die....For it did die in Christ, so the law was and is satisfied with the one that has faith in Jesus.. Whereby God became the just and justifier of him that has faith in Jesus...

For Jesus came as a fulfillment of the law and by Him taking us to death with Him on the cross He fulfilled the laws righteous demands on us, thereby freeing us from the law... So we might serve in newness of faith not oldness of the letter.....For the law held us as children under it’s demands till faith was made manifest...Now that faith has been made manifest, faith is that that justifies... Thereby the free gift of salvation is to all that by the faith of their hearts turn their hearts to God and,

“have faith in Jesus”

So what does all this mean in real life, how does it play out and become real to us?

Scripture says; we are to reckon these truths so. We are told to have the faith of the heart reckon itself dead unto sin and alive unto God....

Our salvation and growing in it, is really that simple......By the faith of the heart reckoning itself dead to sin and alive unto God, on a moment by moment basis...For the soul that sees it’s need, shall find freedom from itself, in the reckoning of faith..

Be blessed in our salvation, which is from start to finish, by faith in Christ Jesus, Not me

Scripture says; we are to reckon these truths so. We are told to have the faith of the heart reckon itself dead unto sin and alive unto God....

This means in effect stop doing wilful sins and let faith in God's love bring you hope for better to come. This does not mean partying with the wicked for all sins have been forgiven, and so we can simply continue entertaining wrongful choices to suit our personal desires best.

The sheep and goat within our hearts we will find when the valley of decision looms up.

Peace.

Matthew 25:31-46
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

“They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

“He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

“Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Hi, very interesting turn of phrase.

“sheep and goats within our hearts”

Never hear it put that way before, sheep being Christ, goats being self, be blessed in the choosing, as we choose Christ over self....
