Alright smart aleck! Anyway, cute comic. Mr. Potato Head and wife are walking down the sidewalk and she catches him eyeballing a floozied up French fry smoking on the sidewalk. The English don't like French fries - that's why they call them "chips"!
Some Americans don't like them either, so they call them American Fries. The English don't like French fries - that's why they call them "chips"!
Do you remember the days of Freedom FriesSome Americans don't like them either, so they call them American Fries.
That was what my tired brain was trying to remember but I got it wrong. Silliness.Do you remember the days of Freedom Fries
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The cafeteria menus in the three House office buildings changed the name of "french fries" to "freedom fries," in a culinary rebuke of France stemming from anger over the country's refusal to support the U.S. position on Iraq.
Ditto for "french toast," which will be known as "freedom toast."

For some reason, I do not like waffle fries. Go figure!I love french fries!
It’s what the forum is for!Wouldn't it be ironic if French people didn't like french fries? Never mind, I'm just being silly here.
I'm with you. I love chicken sandwiches at Chick-fil-A, but I'm not crazy about their fries. For some reason, I do not like waffle fries. Go figure!
It’s strange. Made of the same thing as other fries but I like the traditional ones best.I'm with you. I love chicken sandwiches at Chick-fil-A, but I'm not crazy about their fries.

I love potato skins in my homemade fries.Burger King at the moment. Who knows for how long as they keep changing them. They currently are my preference in this group. 1) they are not so individually tiny that they get cold by the time you take the first bite of hamburger. 2)They don't need to slather some spices on them to make them slightly palatable. 3) They aren't breaded. 4)They don't have garbage still stuck to them ( Potato skin being garbage.).
Good question. To me, it just sounds gross. Lol!A related question I've always pondered: why do we always put ketchup on potatoes when they're fried, but never when they're baked, boiled, roasted, grilled, etc.?
