The English don't like French fries - that's why they call them "chips"!
Alright smart aleck! Anyway, cute comic. Mr. Potato Head and wife are walking down the sidewalk and she catches him eyeballing a floozied up French fry smoking on the sidewalk.

Could not post it though.

Do you remember the days of Freedom Fries :)

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The cafeteria menus in the three House office buildings changed the name of "french fries" to "freedom fries," in a culinary rebuke of France stemming from anger over the country's refusal to support the U.S. position on Iraq.

Ditto for "french toast," which will be known as "freedom toast."

That was what my tired brain was trying to remember but I got it wrong. Silliness.

I'm with you. I love chicken sandwiches at Chick-fil-A, but I'm not crazy about their fries.
It’s strange. Made of the same thing as other fries but I like the traditional ones best.

Burger King at the moment. Who knows for how long as they keep changing them. They currently are my preference in this group. 1) they are not so individually tiny that they get cold by the time you take the first bite of hamburger. 2)They don't need to slather some spices on them to make them slightly palatable. 3) They aren't breaded. 4)They don't have garbage still stuck to them ( Potato skin being garbage.).

I love potato skins in my homemade fries.

A related question I've always pondered: why do we always put ketchup on potatoes when they're fried, but never when they're baked, boiled, roasted, grilled, etc.? :nosepick:
Good question. To me, it just sounds gross. Lol!
