A Christian, by definition, are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. They are the same. Not to interrupt the thread, but for clarity, which is it? (according to you in your posts)
There won't be any disobedient Christians around,
or
there won't be any disobedient believers around.
However, James 2:19 isn't about believing that Jesus is the Christ, but rather believing that God is One. That is monotheism. It's not saving faith. All the quotes below are from the same post.
Note that "even the demons believe, (thus are technically "believers" but never Christian)
and shudder because they know their judgment is soon" ....
And there is no such thing as "saving faith" for demons because there is nothing for them to believe in for salvation. In fact, there's no evidence from Scripture that any demon can avoid the lake of fire. So no salvation for them.
By the time the mark of the beast is given, I don't believe there will be any disobedient believers around. Why? Because of the clear biblical teaching about God's divine discipline, which is painful (Heb 12:11), and includes physical death (1 Cor 11:30). iow, the judgments that precede the mark of the beast will kill disobedient believers along with the unsaved.Further, when true Ekklesia (martyrs) are told to get the mark, and refuse to take it, they are executed.
Others, whether they were once Christians, or once believers , or not, will take the mark to spare their life, thus losing their own souls forever.
Wouldn't they count as "disobedient" ?
Don't you realize that if any believer would take the mark, and therefore, would perish in the lake of fire, would CONTRADICT what Jesus said in John 10:28? That recipients of eternal life shall never perish.
So why even try to argue that there will be disobedient believers who do take the mark and end up perishing in the lake of fire? All you're doing is contradicting the Lord.
Why do you want to do that?
