In Revelation we find the following prophecy concerning the end times.

Revelation 13: 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Democrats in the House of Representatives voted on Wednesday against an amendment to a proposed bill that would prevent the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) from forcing credit reporting agencies to evaluate Americans based on political opinions or religious beliefs.

Without such an amendment, Republicans warn, the powerful CFPB would have the legal authority to make nearly any criteria mandatory for a private credit evaluation company to take into consideration, paving the way for a system in which the federal government has the power to assign numerical scores to individuals based on their loyalty to a certain political party, membership in civil society groups that the government approves or disapproves of, or other private behaviors.

The system, they say, would mirror the newly minted “social credit system” in place in China, which bans citizens from key social services like public transportation if they lose too many points behaving in a way the Communist Party disapproves of.

The CFPB, the brainchild of Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), is an executive agency that does not answer to the presidency, making it unaccountable to anyone but its head. The constitutionality of giving an unelected body the power to impose its demands on private individuals and corporations has been the subject of extensive debate, and the unique power given to a bureau director triggered an aggressive fight for the seat after founding director Richard Cordray, chosen by President Barack Obama, resigned.

The whole world / society, and most all religious people have for decades been being prepared and made willing and told to "submit" to the government (as if Scriptural) while all along being led by the beast or those subject to it.

I don't think it is necessary to make the distinction "Democrats." Didn't the Republicans take the lead on waterboarding, FISA, government growth under Reagan, GHW Bush and GW Bush? While I grant the Brietbart piece above most likely comes with speech codes and voting history, and is scary, growth of Federal control scares me, and that is a Republican and a Democratic problem.

The mark of the beast is going to manifest itself through a union of church and state ... so could certainly be a step in that direction ... possibly could cause start persecution of people of faith with an eventual revolt by people overall ... with the end result being people eventually turning back to a "religious system" thinking that by doing so will "fix" things when in actuality would open the door for anti-christ (the first beast) to be accepted by most.

With that being said ... no doubt the United States will eventually accept socialism (already is) and that leads to communism (with a dictator - ie Hitler, Mao etc.) and communism historically leads to persecution (from the "state") and execution in masses, especially in regard to people of faith.

I agree with a lot of what you said, but will disagree on some fine details that I find important.

Most nations do not control their own currencies. Take the US for example. Congress ceded complete control of our currency to the Federal Reserve System when they voted to form it. Thus, the Fed through it's entire monoloply on interest rates and money printing, has been the cause of the boom and bust cycles ever since by their manipulation of interest rates and the fractional reserve banking policies they have enforced.

So, the Fed is owned and controlled by private bankers like the Rothschilds, the Morgans, the Rockefellers, etc.... The same goes with the vast majority of central banks around the world. What's more the bankers that started the Fed here in the US also started the CFR, and the great majority of presidential cabinet positions have been filled by CFR members. And the CFR is a huge proponent of a one world government. In fact the CFR founders/bankers were the ones that influenced Woodrow Wilson to push for the League of Nations. In fact they wrote his proposals for it. Those same bankers funded the Russian Revolution with a $20 million loan during WW1.

Woodrow Wilson was so closely controlled by them that his handler lived in the White House, and his statement about Edward House, also known as Colonel House even though he had no military background, was that he, Wilson, didn't know where he stopped and House began. That House was a full-bore socialist can be easily verified. He wrote a book titled Philip Dru: Administrator. It's still available as a free download from the Gutenberg Project. The book outlines what a socialist government looks like through the eyes of a socialist/marxist.

The CFR was also behind the creation of the United Nations and push for more UN control over the US on a daily basis. There is too much evidence to put into one post, but our sovereignty as a nation is pretty much gone and the goal is to break up the US into 5 different administrative areas controlled by the UN. ( Read UN agenda 2030 documentation.) The liberty that we have had since our founding fathers created this nation has made it a target because the elites such as the big bankers, CFR members, etc... hate liberty. They want total control over the population which would be done through the UN and they have been working to that end since hefore the end of the 19th century. That means both currency and political control, i.e. government, would not be done by individual nations, but by the UN. World government hostile to Christianity as a whole and completely socialist in nature.

If we look at what the deep state and the Democrats are up to politically we can see this push to crush the soveriegnty of the US. Will they succeed? And we can see the willingness of the Catholic church to cooperate with socialism by the statements and the attitudes of the current pope and many of his cardinals.

This entire thread is about signs of the times, not a single sign of the times and as such I will be posting a lot of events that point towards how close we are to the end of time and Jesus' soon return.

A convicted transgender pedophile is being released from prison since he now identifies as a woman and that somehow makes him no longer a threat to reoffend. This guy molested kids as young as 1 year olds. And this is justice?

We are clearly in the days when evil is good and good is evil.

If you were one of those inquiring souls who was wondering just how crazy the transgender phenomenon could get, the answer to that question may have just surfaced in the Des Moines Register under the headline about a pedophile: “Convicted of sex crimes as a man, felon no longer deemed threat because of gender change.”

According to the Register: “The Iowa Attorney General’s Office is no longer seeking the commitment of a former Midwest Christian services student convicted of myriad sex crimes because the individual now identifies as a woman. Court records show the state dismissed the application on Jan. 9. Attorney general spokesman Lynn Hicks wouldn’t comment on the reason for the dismissal other than to say ‘an offender’s hormone levels are an important part of substantiating an offender’s likelihood of recidivism.’”

To provide a bit of context here, Joseph Matthew Smith is a 23-year-old who was convicted of molesting a fellow student back in 2014, but according to state’s expert Dr. Jeffrey Davis, Smith has molested as many as 15 children — ranging from ages one to 13. In fact, Davis’s report indicated that “the likelihood of re-offending within five years of release exceeded 20% because victims were of both genders, and because Smith was under age 25 and never had a long-term relationship.”

But because this pedophile now identities as a woman named Josie — and the Des Moines Register refers to Smith as “she” throughout their reportage on this insanity — he will now be set free. Smith had started the process of getting “started on transgender classification in October 2017 and started using female pronouns” at Newton Correctional Facility, and attorney general spokesman Lynn Hicks “cautioned the public not to overreact to Smith’s upcoming release” because he will still be “subject to sex-offender registration requirements.”

seems to me the first beast will rise to power first ... or could be the two powers rise somewhat simultaneously ... point is ... when that time comes (economic "take over") happens ... both powers are in place ... in control.

The first beast (religious power) is marveled at ... followed (GREAT signs & wonders) .... that is .... it is a great deception and with the second beast (state power) enforcing the first beasts "power" (ie does the "bidding" of the first beast in regard to worship).

Like I said before, I agree with you on what the mark of the beast will be. As an SDA I agree with Ellen White's prophecies concerning the end times. The US in prophecy starts out as a nation with two foundations to it's power, i.e., the separation of church and state. The resulting liberty created the greatest nation on earth and now all of that is under severe attack. Will even any trace of our Constitution remain for long? I wonder.

What other signs of the times do we see in the world today that indicate time just cannot last too much longer?

How about Japan getting ready to release 1.2 tons of radioactive water from Fukushima into the ocean? How long can the oceans survive this kind of deadly poisoning?

Just in case a global viral pandemic, whose sources are still unclear and apparently now include human feces, wasn't enough, the global outrage meter is about to go "up to eleven" with Japan now set to flood the world's oceans with radioactive water.

In a move that will surely prompt a furious response from Greta Thunberg's ghost writers (unless of course it doesn't fit a very narrow agenda), a panel of experts advising Japan’s government on a disposal method for the millions of tons of radioactive water from the destroyed Fukushima nuclear plant on Friday recommended releasing it into the ocean. And, as Reuters notes, based on past practice it is likely the government will accept the recommendation.

Tokyo Electric, or Tepco, has collected nearly 1.2 million tonnes of contaminated water from the cooling pipes used to keep fuel cores from melting since the plant was crippled by an earthquake and tsunami in 2011. The water is stored in huge tanks that crowd the site.

The panel under the industry ministry came to the conclusion after narrowing the choice to either releasing the contaminated water into the Pacific Ocean or letting it evaporate - and opted for the former, even though it means that Japan's neihgbors will now have to suffer the consequences of the biggest nuclear disaster since Chernobyl.

Previously the committee had ruled out other possibilities, such as underground storage, that lack track records of success. At the meeting, members stressed the importance of selecting proven methods and said "the government should make clear that releasing the water would have a significant social impact."

Japan's neighbor, South Korea, has for much of the past decade retained a ban on imports of seafood from Japan’s Fukushima region imposed after the nuclear disaster and summoned a senior Japanese embassy official last year to explain how the Fukushima water would be dealt with. They will soon have a very unsatisfactory answer.

How about another sign of the times? Our nation is now teaching K-12 school kids "gender fluidity" by having drag queens do "educational" programs.

K-12 schools are bringing drag queens into the classroom to teach gender ideology, a Thursday video revealed.

Teachers are praising “Drag Queen Story Hour,” according to a clip released by videographer Sean Fitzgerald and the David Horowitz Freedom Center. The program “captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models.”

Maurice Sendak Community School, a public school located in Brooklyn, New York, hosted a drag queen and first grade teacher Alexis Hernandez marveled at the event in a testimonial published on Drag Queen Story Hour’s website.

“Drag Queen Story Hour gave my first-graders a fun and interactive platform to talk and think about social and emotional issues like acceptance, being yourself, and loving who you are,” Hernandez said. “During our debrief … [students] were preaching the incredible lessons they had learned, like ‘It’s OK to be different,’ and ‘There’s no such thing as “boy” and “girl” things.’”

The first grade teacher said she would be hosting the event again the following year. Katrina Green, a teacher from Chickpeas Preschool in Brooklyn, also lauded the program.

The event “allows preschool children to deepen and complicate their ideas about gender at the exact age when they are often developing rigid ideas about this concept,” Green said.

Drag Queen Story Hour markets itself to children between 3 and 8 years old. The program’s reading list includes books like “Jacob’s New Dress” by Sarah and Ian Hoffman and “Red: A Crayon’s Story” by Michael Hall. While the former book’s plot revolves around a boy convincing his parents to let him wear a dress to school, the latter chronicles the journey of a crayon “mistakenly labeled” red to identify successfully as blue.

One of the greatest blows to our Constitution took place with very little public knowledge of it happening during the Kavanaugh hearings. In a financial accounting rule created by the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) the US government has stated that it no longer needs to be transparent in it's financial reporting. In other words, it can hide it's true spending and revenue. In other words it just made itself one great big black box with respect to all things financial.

This new rule, called FASAB Rule 56, was created due to the findings that $21 trillion is missing from the federal government. And that is only from 2 departments. Why only 2? Because those 2 departments, DoD and HUD, were the only 2 departments that had enough documentation posted to their websites to actually make the determination. So it could very well be much, much higher.

Why is this such an important issue? One, the Constitution mandates financial transparency so the government saying it has the ability to just lie to us about what it is doing blatently violates the Constitution. Two, this means all financial markets are now black boxes and so are all government reports on economic issues. It means government secrecy on the same scale as the USSR, China, North Korea, etc.... It can do what it wants and never inform us as they can hide all the money they spend doing what ever it is they decide to do.

I'll give some links here to videos, as I don't believe it's possible to post multiple videos in one post, that will explain the missing money and the FASAB Rule 56 by a financial expert who travels the world teaching financial issues and runs her own investing company. She is an ex-government employee who was once a deputy director of HUD where she found a way to save taxpayers billions of dollars on repossessed houses. She went to her bosses with the program and they turned it down as the decision had already been made as to who to sell the distressed properties to. Not surprisingly a short time later the DOJ started an endless prosecution against her but would never actually put forward the evidence as to her supposed bad behavior. They did that until they bankrupted her because of her legal bills, and then suddenly the charges went away.

Creator of US Bioweapons Act says corona virus is a biological weaapon.

In an explosive interview Dr. Francis Boyle, who drafted the Biological Weapons Act has given a detailed statement admitting that the 2019 Wuhan Coronavirus is an offensive Biological Warfare Weapon and that the World Health Organization (WHO) already knows about it.

Francis Boyle is a professor of international law at the University of Illinois College of Law. He drafted the U.S. domestic implementing legislation for the Biological Weapons Convention, known as the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989, that was approved unanimously by both Houses of the U.S. Congress and signed into law by President George H.W. Bush.

In an exclusive interview given to Geopolitics and Empire, Dr. Boyle discusses the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, China and the Biosafety Level 4 laboratory (BSL-4) from which he believes the infectious disease escaped. He believes the virus is potentially lethal and an offensive biological warfare weapon or dual-use biowarfare weapons agent genetically modified with gain of function properties, which is why the Chinese government originally tried to cover it up and is now taking drastic measures to contain it.

The Wuhan BSL-4 lab is also a specially designated World Health Organization (WHO) research lab and Dr. Boyle contends that the WHO knows full well what is occurring.

Could biological weapons factor into end time events? What does the Bible say about this, if anything?

In the book of Mark Jesus gives us a hint.

Mark 13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

This passage tells me that the devil will have such great sway over human behavior in the last days he will have us close to wiping ourselves out with our own devices.

Humanity has become just like we were before the flood. The thoughts of this world are only evil continually. Take a look at what is being taught to our children as young as 10 in this article, but in others as young as kindergarten. This is truly thinking evil continually.

Parents in Grand Haven, Michigan recently got a glimpse of some of the books local schools are promoting to their kids, and they’re not impressed.

In recent months, several parents have spoken out at school board meetings about novels involving graphic gay sex scenes, child rape, and the normalization of sexual perversion in the LGBTQ lifestyle that are assigned to students as young as 10 years old.

The parents offered suggestions and assistance to help local officials weed through inappropriate content and devise a system for flagging potentially offensive materials parents should know about.

But so far, district leaders have largely ignored the issue by shifting the burden of censoring school libraries to parents, as liberal religious figures in the community malign their concerned neighbors as misinformed bigots.

“When I got the book, I was stunned by what I read thinking about kids ages 10 and 11 reading this book,” Stuppy said. “The book is about a 14 year old boy, Alek, and his

romantic encounter with an older sexually experienced, 17-year-old Ethan. Ethan details a sexual relationship he had with a college student who lived in his home when he was only 15 years old himself. Now it’s a few years later and an older, sexually experienced, Ethan is pursuing 14 year old Alek.

“The book talks about how to steal from stores, which teachers they’d like to ‘bang.’ And the thrill Alek experiences in a clothing store dressing room having older Ethan looking at his 14 year old naked body, making out with him, with people nearby. One scene leads the reader to believe an older Ethan will give oral sex or anal sex to 14 year old Alek right as his parents walk in.

Jennifer Lee Stuppy, mother of a sixth-grader at Lakeshore Middle School, explained to board members last month that she reviewed a seven-page list of LGBTQ books, including some with sexually explicit content warnings, sent to parents in December. Stuppy highlighted excerpts from one of the books, “One Man Guy” by Michael Barakiva.

Posting anti-vaccine propaganda on social media could become a criminal offence – even if those promoting it believe the pseudoscience, the UK’s new criminal Law Commissioner has said.

In her first interview since taking up the role, Penney Lewis, revealed she is considering whether laws should be amended to “lower the threshold” of criminality for posting false information online that endangers lives.

It comes as the Health Secretary Matt Hancock said in September he was “looking very seriously” at making vaccinations compulsory for state school pupils after the UK lost its official measles-free country status due to a steady fall in MMR immunisation rates.

Our Constitution here in the US has been our guarantee of liberty since our nation was formed. Well, our fundamental rights under the Constitution are being destroyed on a daily basis. The following article speaks to the ongoing destruction of the 2nd Amendment.

In California the county of Santa Clara in California is forming gun confiscation teams.

California continues to proudly lead the charge toward a disarmed citizenry. In the latest attack on the Second Amendment, Santa Clara County is forming what they call a “county gun team” – a unit of lawyers, analysts, and prosecutors authorized to seek out and confiscate firearms from those the state feels shouldn’t have them.

Okay, Fine. We’re Coming For Your Guns
Remember when Democrats used to try to mollify armed Americans by saying, “No one’s coming for your guns” with every incremental gun control measure they proposed?

Well, it’s official: They’re coming for the guns – some of them, at least. Surprised? You shouldn’t be. As Liberty Nation’s Graham J. Noble once wrote, “Democrats have never come across a gun restriction they didn’t like.”

The Santa Clara Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to approve funding for the proposal, which was put forth by board president Cindy Chavez. The team will consist of seven people – three crime analysts, two lawyers, and two prosecutors. They will be tasked with identifying those who have been ordered to surrender their weapons and ensure these dangerous people aren’t still armed. If necessary, they’ll obtain search warrants for local law enforcement to go and take the guns.

Deputy District Attorney Marisa McKeown explained that “the very voluminous California laws on guns mean nothing if we don’t adequately and smartly enforce them.” She is correct, of course. Those who don’t care to follow the old laws aren’t likely to care much about the new ones. That’s why Second Amendment advocates say gun control doesn’t work.

“The law says that there are categories of people who are not allowed to have a gun,” McKeown said. “If you are a domestic abuser with a restraining order, you can’t have a gun. If you are a convicted felon, you can’t have a gun. If you are a repeated, mentally ill offender who is dangerous, you can’t have a gun.”


The List Grows Ever Longer
While the Board dressed the proposal up as simply a way to protect the victims of domestic abuse, consider the words of the deputy DA. Now let’s have a look at the ever-growing list of people who aren’t allowed to own guns in California – by no means did she disclose them all. According to the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, as of December 10, 2019, the following groups are considered prohibited persons:

• Those convicted of a felony or certain domestic violence crimes.
  
  
• Those addicted to narcotic drugs.
  
  
• Those convicted of specific crimes (both felony and misdemeanor) involving violence, hate crime offences, or the unlawful misuse of firearms.
  
  
• Those convicted of violating state laws regarding safe storage of firearms around minors and prohibited people. This usually results in a ten-year prohibition.
  
  
• Anyone who knows they are subject to an outstanding arrest warrant for a firearm-prohibiting offense – not convicted, simply subject to a warrant.
  
  
• Those prohibited as a condition of probation.
  
  
• Wards of the juvenile courts due to the commission of an offense involving violence, drugs, or firearms. This prohibition remains in effect until age 30.
  
  
• Anyone who knows they are subject to a protective order, restraining order, temporary restraining order, or injunction issued by a court pursuant to state law – including extreme risk protection orders, otherwise known as red flag laws.
  
  
• Anyone prohibited because of a history of severe mental illness or chronic alcoholism.
  

This isn’t simply about disarming convicted felons – which is another issue in its own right. The Santa Clara County Gun Team might well be tasked with disarming anyone with a record of mental illness, drug or alcohol abuse, who might be suspected of some crime – violent or otherwise – or even parents who simply didn’t lock up their guns while the kids were home. Will the squad also be used to hunt down any firearms or accessories the state manages to ban in the future? Which groups, exactly, deserve to be stripped of the right to self-defense?

The second Amendment to our Constitution makes a positive declaration of the right to keep and bear arms.

A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

What part of "shall not be infringed" is Santa Clara county following?

Are we in any way, shape, or form following the Constituituion when entire groups of people are denied their rights under the Constitution? Do you know how many people in this country can be denied their Constitutional rights under these types of classifications? Anyone who has ever been treated for depression, or even has self-reported having had depressive thoughts, can be called mentally ill. Ever gone to your doctor and said, I've been depressed lately? You fit the descritption that can be used to deny you your rights. The numbers vary according to who you read, but are as high as 9% of the entire population of the US. That's 30 million people deprived of their rights under the Constitution and vast majoirity of them have never exhibited violent tendencies. And that's only those who have reported being depressed for any reason at any time. What's worse is the numbers are cumulative. Once counted you're never off the list.

And that's only one part of the list.

The Bible tells us that in the last days totalitarianism will be the form of government. It will be so onerous that the government will control us to the point that it will decide who can buy and sell. In other words, who can purchase food and who cannot. Who can purchase shelter and who cannot. Who can purchase medical treatment and who cannot. It looks to me we are well on our way down that slippery slope.
