I invite you to mine for a little interest here and if compelled, to offer your response on this incorruptible concept, if possible, to remark what facilitates a love of one God and not three?

This may be grossly abbreviated by the reader in saying simply, ‘I love God, three in one!

Therefore, it may well rest on the technical understanding, if you happen to agree with mine which consist not solely on the relative use of; love for God, but a much more specific understanding.

Of all three entities of the Trinity, the scriptures attest so much attention towards our Redeemer, Jesus, the Christ and our love for him and his appearing.

To contend further could be dangerous except, our Lord, as one with the Father and the Spirit is not only our advocate but affectionate representative to God’s love and supply. For,

“, , the head of Christ is God.”

Likewise,

“I and the Father are one."

, and no less His Spirit,

“Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.”

IMO, if our response is a healthy one it is this, obviously, a love of God, yet specifically,

Father, honor, fear, imitate
Son, love, follow, imitate
Spirit, sense, follow, emulate

So, in my thinking, its always back to the Son and right to the Father and yet also, from the Son back to us by the Spirit to live and conquer with Him.

(1 Cor 11:3, Jn 10:30, Rm 8:9)

Father, honor, fear, imitate

When Yahshua was asked the foremost precept of the law; he responded with the Shema. Shema is Hebrew for "hear"

(CLV) Mt 22:36
"Teacher, what is the great precept in the law?"

(CLV) Mt 22:37
Now He averred to him, "You shall be loving the Lord your God with your whole heart, and with your whole soul, and with your whole comprehension.

(CLV) Mt 22:38
This is the great and foremost precept.
===================================================
Shema

(CLV) Dt 6:4
Hear, Israel! Yahweh is our Elohim; Yahweh the only One.

(CLV) Dt 6:5
So you will love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your intensity.

(CLV) Dt 6:6
These words which I am instructing you today will come to be in your heart.

This subject is very interesting and it is good that 'rocknanchor has brought it to attention. We love the Three in One. 3 Persons we love but Three Persons in One. One LORD!

One LORD! One Church!

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. John 17:v.24-25

The trumpet shall sound (1Thes.4:v.16) , and the dead shall be raised incorruptible (Daniel 12:v.1-3), and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.(1Cor.15:v.52-53 combined with Luke 20:v.35-36)

Someone might be prone to think I have devalued a love of God here in that triple definition,
Father, honor, fear, imitate
Son, love, follow, imitate
Spirit, sense, follow, emulate
But we can't love God without our gathering unto the Son!

If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

1 Corinthians 16:22

Yea, have I beset threefold the great commandment; a love for One?

God loves! The Son of God loves! The Holy Spirit loves! All three love as One!
Overall, our love of the Trinity has been one of the most edifying statements the Church of God has envisioned. Now I’m not suggesting blasphemy has taken root, but if sufficient liberty were to run its course, abominable just might apply if an overzealousness for the love of the Trinity subtract from “love the Lord your God”, and I emphasize as you so aptly state; LOVE of GOD as One. If left solitary, would begin to form doctrine of it's own,

Father, honor, fear, imitate
Son, love, follow, imitate
Spirit, sense, follow, emulate

Is it possible we beset threefold the great commandment; a spiritual love for One? Whether it has or has not, it still must draw upon Jesus’ expansive exception,

“God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth."

(John 4:24)

In the words of Christ, He said in many ways, He came to reveal the Father, or He came to draw men to the Father and specifically He came to do the work of His Father. Christ is the Revelation of the love of God the Father so great that He was compelled by this love to send His Eternal begotten Son, who was in agreement with Him, to become the substitutional sacrifice, thankfully, for my sin and yours and all who would believe. We are drawn to Christ because of His sacrifice and Christ points us to His Father. When the throng asked Jesus how should we pray He gave them a model of a prayer that begins Our Father. Not Dear Jesus. If we follow this model which He provided our prayers are to the Father through Jesus Christ who sits at His right hand to intercede for all His children. So we simply love God who is known to us in three persons, each a unique person. That is the essence of the trinity and the love of mankind of God. We would all do better to imitate the servant savior, the Christ as He walked and taught on this earth.
