Sen. Marsha Blackburn is taking a page from Donald John's book - defamatory tweets against Col. Vindman (who testified against Donald) to whom she has taken to referring, Donald-like, as "Vindictive Vindman".

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), who along with every other senator serves as a juror in the impeachment trial, took to Twitter and impugned the patriotism of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman.

Blackburn referred to an allegation that Vindman had badmouthed the United States in a conversation with Russians while serving overseas.

Slander, defamation and name-calling have been winning strategies for Donald - why not for Blackburn?

When you leave the chain of command, whos first link is our president, and take up sides with the deep state, any symbols of loyalty to our country- such as military honors - should probably be surrendered.

I think that cancer of maliciousness and vicious attacks within politics has always been there. Trump has simply normalized it and now many of his supporters follow his example of spewing vile at one's political opponents without reservation. They are acting as if they shut off their moral conscience and have been given permission to be as vile and cruel as he is toward anyone he personally despises.

When you turn deep state your "loyalty" to the president becomes entirely fake, and so departs both genuine loyalty as well as honesty.

(Note: by "deep state", I'm referring to the pro-Trump person's notion. I dont really believe in such a thing.)
