The Ultimate Profit of Proof

As Jesus said, “, , blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

1 Corinthians 2:4, John 20:29​

Thank God for those things some of us have seen that remain unquestionably from God. Still, the one proof Jesus describes here leads me to believe is, this is where the child of God should be found. Then, if the other shows up, then that is where those works that “follow them that believe” should be found.

No doubt, you have well in hand the voices of those whom hold back claiming,

"But that was Jesus!"

But you won't find anything in God's word to counter 'quietbloke' with. He, Jesus has gone to the Father and is the "same" before He came to earth, during as is now true, such faith without God's works in you being performed - are dead!

Oh but that isn't of us to draw back, but press onward beyond the usual figure of speech, Hallelujah!

Let us do the works that Jesus did!

Just as Paul and the others did and every child of God thereafter who accomplished,

", , greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father."

(John 14:12)​

If I never see another sign of His approval till the day they carry me away, its no use to the scoffer, that outward weak, yet strongest component of my armor, the shield of faith (not the confirmation of sight), itself, receives from the Rewarder and will carry me by outstretched mercy from the throne of grace to His loving arms, Hallelujah!

When to reject a lukewarm assembly? This could be a hard call to determine "proof". For the word makes no apology for those who only foment tradition and infrequent 'honorable mentions' to the Holy Spirit to sanitize their image. Elsewhere, only "two" exchanges of reason are all it takes to reject heresy.

Has the proof fallen into need? No, it sits comfortably in His lowly care and distributed to His contented flock.
