Jay (a supporter of Christian rights) lays out the known facts to date at the impeachment trial.
Hard to lose with this lawyer on your side.
Especially when you are being railroaded.
The people will not stand for that.
This all should be of help for Trump in 2020?

to what are you referring? Jay Seculow said a whole lot more than “No, it’s not”,

That's pretty much it. He just took a lot longer to say it; that's what lawyers do when they don't have much to go on.

You can't possibly believe that.

...May 31, 2018
Dear Representatives Trott and Schiff,
As Chair of the Committee on International Justice and Peace of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), I commend you for introducing H. Res. 220 that expresses the sense of the House of Representatives regarding past genocides.
...
I understand H. Res. 220's goal is to prevent genocide against Christians, Yezidis, and other vulnerable people in the Middle East, by having the United States draw on lessons learned from the response to past genocides.
...
The Committee on International Justice and Peace is committed to working with members of Congress to reject violence and protect the poor, vulnerable, and oppressed who are suffering.

Sincerely yours,

Most Reverend Timothy P. Broglio
Archbishop of Military Services, USA
Chair, Committee on International Justice and Peace
Letter to House of Representatives on Genocide Prevention Resolution

So yes, Schiff and Trott, from different parties, were strong supporters of religious rights for Christians and other religions.

Been listening to Jay for years on Christian radio. Guy has taken and won cases to the the Supreme Court. He is all in representing Trump on these flimsy impeachment charges. Adam has his work cut out for himself. Otherwise this may quickly be over.

Anyone that knows of Jay's good works would not want to go head to head with him.

Ironic that a professed Christian would be defending a man who uses the Ten Commandments like Kleenex.

It's why evangelicals are a declining group; so many of them were more interested in what is Caesar's than what is God's.

Nope -- we study our Bible
and don't practice that.

Give Caesars what is Caesars.

Those opinions are not supported by the facts:
He asserted that Sondland did not say there was a quid pro quo:

Pivoting from statements he made last month, Sondland said he concluded the release of $400 million in frozen U.S. aid was conditioned upon Ukraine announcing an investigation that could be potentially benefit to President Donald Trump’s chances of re-election.

“Was there a ‘quid pro quo’? ” Sondland said in dramatic testimony. “The answer is yes.”

The next "fact" is an example of lying by telling part of the truth:
He says Trump claimed he wanted nothing from Ukraine. Which is what he said, after he was reported; after he got caught, Trump changed his story from "But we want you to do us a favor" to "no, I don't want anything."

The whistleblower complaint was filed on Aug. 12.
Trump Muddies Impeachment Timeline

In one corner, President Donald Trump and his supporters point to his September 9 conversation with EU Ambassador Gordon Sondland, during which (according to Sondland) Trump said, "I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo."

The timing of Trump's "I want nothing" comments is crucial to this point. Trump's September 9 conversation with Sondland happened nearly a month after the whistleblower filed a complaint, several days after the White House learned about the complaint, and on the same day Congress received notice of the complaint. ... Trump was in cover-up mode.

Jay Sekulow set to hold his own on Trump's big-name legal team - CNNPolitics

(CNN)Flanked by an independent counsel whose name is already etched into impeachment history and a marquee constitutional scholar who has stood beside some of the most notorious defendants in a generation, most lawyers would run the risk of being overshadowed.

But Jay Sekulow, one of President Donald Trump's personal attorneys since his first few months in office, is just as accustomed to the spotlight. Having weathered the former special counsel's probe into Russian election interference, Sekulow has also proven himself adept at waging battles on behalf of the President -- even when working off less-than-ideal facts.

T[bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] changed his story from "But we want you to do us a favor" to "no, I don't want anything."

Seriously, do you not understand the difference in the meanings of the words "I" and "Us"? Because there are a number of us here who can explain it to you.

like this?

Turner: You really have no testimony today that ties Trump to a scheme to withhold aid from Ukraine for exchange for these investigations;

Sondland: Other than my own presumption

Turner: Which is nothing.

Why not? Are you saying that a Jew can't support Christian rights?

I am saying that Adam Schiff is so obviously blinded, twisted, and perverted by hate no one who claims to have an ounce of intellectual honesty could ever believe he gives a crap about anyone other than himself and whatever narcissistic desire he harbors within himself. The guy is more obvious than a McDonald's sign glaring in the dark of night.

How blind to the truth does someone have to be in order to believe that when Schiff fabricated, completely fabricated, the details of the phone call in question, after the transcript had been released, mind, again after the transcript had been released, that he somehow, magically, wasn't lying thorough his teeth.

And some of you wonder why no one takes you seriously.
