We're way pass the courting stage, we are in a serious committed relationship. My boyfriend has a job, but he has found a better one and is moving away to another continent. He wants me to come with him. After he already moves there and if I find a job there as well, which is not sure.

I really don't want to move since it is very stressful to me and I would need to leave everything here for some job I might not even have or like. I'm not sure if we would live together there or what.
On the other side, I can't imagine being apart from my boyfriend and I really dislike long distance relationship. We would see each other like never.

So basically, he puts money first, and I put security first. Neither of us is putting love first, right? How do you see it? Who is being selfish? I guess we want different things, but we do not want to break up over this.

I really don't know what to do? Should I sacrifice and go with him? Or should he stay? I can't even understand what does the Bible says about such situation? Do I submit to my boyfriend?
Thank you for any help. God bless.

How much did he talk to you about this job change?
How involved were you?
How much did he listen to you. What did he say to your comments and objections?

If you weren't involved, if he had no comment other than come with me.
You are not that important to him..

Put it to him were does he so you both this time next year after a year apart?
Take it from there.

Are you serious enough for marriage though? Have you discussed marriage and the like yet? If his decision to go is final, maybe let him go on his own for now and see how you get on while he's away. Afterwards, you can then make a decision on whether to join him or stay.

There are two things you can do:
1) Move with him.
2) Move on.
I'd like to echo this one!

As someone in the military and who's fiancee is in another country, yes, long distance relationships suck. They are not always fun. However, it also really forces to you communicate more effectively, sometimes better than non-long distance people. And you really appreciate the times that you are physically together. You also really learn to be patient because sometimes time zone changes and phone reception can both ruin a good chat on WhatApp or Facebook.

So, you can either end it or give it a shot. That's really it. Pray about it.
