What does passing from death to life have to do with being born from above?
And once born, should you feel God's presence everyday until death
And once born, should you feel God's presence everyday until death
What does passing from death to life have to do with being born from above?
And once born, should you feel God's presence everyday until death
I'm not speaking of a sign, but to me...in my thoughts on scriptures is His promise. In being born from above one passes from death to life. And I'm not sure if one feels God's presence every day until death. Try making God feel your presence every day until death. It might help.
I remember once I was in a severe disagreement with someone and a little bit of money was involved in it. I had heard time and again about people asking God for a sign of whatever or another. I helped settle the dispute by paying money I didn't think I owed. I prayed to God "this is my sign to you that this thing is settled".
If we can ask God for a sign what's stopping us from offering Him a sign?
And what is this "eternal life"?A persons spiritual birth happens when they trust in Jesus The promised Messiah (from the Tanakh) for Eternal Life. They then become a child of God the spiritual birth.
Now will they stay a child by remaining in sins grip or grow to an adult child of God by growing in their spiritual life.
What do you mean there is only ONE new birth? Where is that in scripture? There is only ONE new birth, but the sanctification process is messy.
Jesus said,
“But what do you think?
A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’ He answered and said,
‘I will not,’ but afterward he regretted it and went.
Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said,
‘I go, sir,’ but he did not go.
Which of the two did the will of his father?” Matthew 21:28-31 NKJV
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just
- to forgive us our sins and
- to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 NKJV
Is He eternal life OR the source of eternal life? Please assure me with a scripture reference. TksEternal Life is Jesus

What do you mean there is only ONE new birth? Where is that in scripture?
Because if I'm dead in my trespasses and sin and I am made alive...as you say ["if I confess"] then are you saying I will never fall into sin and be dead in trespasses and sin, again"? What if I stopped walking in the light? Am I still alive from the dead?
In the Matthew verses above, both were sons, so that relationship was established.“But what do you think?
A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’ He answered and said,
‘I will not,’ but afterward he regretted it and went.

You lost me, and my intent...The two are similar. One might ask for a sign from God, while also asking to know God's presence. Another offers a sign to God while showing God their own presence.
Hebrews 6;6 doesn't say that at all.....You can only be Born again once according to Heb 6:6.
However any believer who claims they have no sin is a liar.
1 Jn 1:8
8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.…
We are completely forgiven but becoming more righteous.
We can stray away but never so far that He cant bring us back.
I'll read the context... Because it seems you may be reading more into it then which it represents. Even still, we should abide indeed! In the Matthew verses above, both were sons, so that relationship was established.
The first one erred, but repented. That was Jesus' point. As long as we abide in Jesus, including repentance when necessary, we have nothing to fear. (And the Holy Spirit has been given to us to encourage that repentance!)
There are other verses that say we can't be Born-Again again, but we can keep trading on the first time as long as we are inclined to do so.

Hebrews 6;6 doesn't say that at all.....
Are you referring to another passage?
GOD CREATED EVERYONEIn the Matthew verses above, both were sons, so that relationship was established.

Hi, it doesn't say "eternal" read it againRead the Gospel of John but if you need a verse.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
