Did Trump actually put a Hit on Yovanovitch?

He's (Parnas) going to be interviewed on Maddow tonight....

Every day it looks worse for DJT, and those who continue to defend him.

Will 20 rats jump ship before the end of the Senate Trial?

Two weeks ago I would have said no way... today I'm far less convinced.

I came across the following article the other day, and after reading it, I then said no way. But you never know though, anything is possible these days.

Impeachment, Soleimani and the Pull of the Swamp

I was thinking about something here. Doesn't this show that all Democrat Senators have already made up their minds to remove the President before even having this trial? Doesn't--- Will 20 rats jump ship before the end of the Senate Trial---imply all Democrat Senators have decided to remove Trump before even having the trial? I'm quite certain 20 rats jumping ship are not including any of the Democrat Senators. Pretty much contradicts what Schumer and other Dems have been going on about recently, like how one should be impartial and fair, thus not deciding the outcome of the trial before the actual trial, something he and other Dems have accused McConnell of doing.

Any Dems saying so are looking at the evidence presented thus far, any Repubs vowing acquittal are refusing to look at the evidence, do not want witnesses, and have publicly stated they, as "JURORS" who will take an oath to be impartial, will be coordinating with and will have the same position as the defense..

What Jury deciding the outcome of a fair trial would vow to take the position of the defendant prior to the trial starting?
In contrast, to your point specifically, I have not seen ONE democratic Senator (yes they'r called Democratic Senators, not Democrat senators, even though I know having that RAT sound at the end is so very satisfying for the "Never-Dems" to say when they use it as an epithet) - anyway, I have not heard of even one Democratic senator vowing to vote for Conviction regardless of the evidence to be presented... so if you wish to draw the comparison, please cite the Dem Senator who has said that?

I suppose this may not bother you, maybe a Jury swearing to take the side of the defense BEFORE the trial even begins seems perfectly fair and balanced to you? but it does not sit well with me at all.

That article makes the claim that trump is a Lock to win the 2020 election.

You believe that?

The article claims that, but in order for it to be so, he can't be removed by the Senate, where that article then seems to indicate that the fix is in, that Trump will be removed by the Senate. The comment you are referring to is if he doesn't get removed. Do I believe That Trump is a Lock to win the 2020 election? It depends. If he is removed by the Senate, then of course not. But if he is still in office during the Presidential election this fall, I would say in that case, yes I tend to believe that. But not because I'm all that much of a fan of Trump, but compared to those running against him, no way can any of them beat Trump.

Based on what sort of data?

The Data I see indicates the exact opposite.

RealClearPolitics - 2020 - Latest 2020 General Election Polls

How Popular Is Donald Trump?

How many incumbent presidents were re elected when they had a greater than 50% disapproval rating in an election year?

Not even one, since modern polling began.

Can Trump break this six-decade U.S. election pattern? | MinnPost

And I suspect at least 1/3, maybe more, of the people who voted for Trump the first time, did so based on a "what the heck lets give the businessman a shot" and will not vote for Him a second time.

One way or another, the Trump Presidency will come to an end in 2020.

Why does it have to involve data in order to predict something? The way I look at it, if Trump survives this impeachment, and that nothing happens to him by this fall, such as him resigning, or maybe getting assassinated(let's hope not though. Trump doesn't deserve that, regardless that many hate him with a passion), so on and so on, then it's meant to be, he will be reelected.

He needs to be put on the stand. If he is telling the truth there's most likely a paper trail.

He's already turned over quite a paper trail, but I agree.... Testify under oath.

It doesn't, unless you want your prediction to be an "educated guess", otherwise it's just blowing air..

I disagree... He does not have the support of the Voting Populace this time to win reelection, and he will have even less support come November, and Should the Senate Acquit, He may even be impeached again on new charges before November the way the new evidence of his crimes is so rapidly coming to light and the way he keeps criminaling and bragging about it.

I have been hearing about political "bombshells", "smoking guns" and "A-HA! We got them now..." since the Clinton administration, if not earlier...
Iran-Contra anyone?

When I initially saw this OP, I guess I overlooked this part. That's the first I ever heard of anything like that.
IMO this is going a bit too far accusing him of something like that.

Did you read the article to see what was behind the speculation?:

A Parnas associate claimed to be surveilling Yovanovitch — and asked if he wanted “her out”
Finally, and most disturbingly, is a set of messages Parnas exchanged with a person named Robert F. Hyde, a controversial Republican congressional candidate in Connecticut who has spent time at Mar-a-Lago and Trump’s DC hotel.

Parnas sent Hyde tweets and articles from prominent conservative media personalities — such as Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, and Dan Bongino — disparaging Yovanovitch and suggesting she was disloyal. “Can’t believe Trumo [Trump] hasn’t fired this [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse],” Hyde responded. “I’ll get right in that.”

About 13 hours later, Hyde reported back to Parnas: “She under heavy protection outside Kiev.” Then, two days later he said he had “guys” there who could “do” something — and that he now knew Yovanovitch’s whereabouts, and that her phone and computer were off.

Hyde went on: “They are willing to help if we/you would like a price.” He added: “Guess you can do anything in the Ukraine with money... what I was told.”

The next day, Hyde reported back that Yovanovitch would not be moved, and that his contacts were asking “what is the next step.”

He added, ominously: “If you want her out they need to make contact with security forces.”

I don't see how raising the speculation that the guy, who famously said 'I could shoot someone in the middle of fifth ave and not lose any voters" could be capable of considering taking a hit out on someone in Ukraine getting in his way, is "going to far" at all.
