The assets frozen in the first place was due to the export of terror by Iran.
"Dirty" or not, it was their money. The US didn't give them 150 billion, the US unfroze IRAN'S 150 billion. So, you were wrong about that to begin with.

If it's "dirty" then prove it. If you can't, then stop making things up. You were already proven wrong once, why should anyone trust your assertions without proof?

Why are American democrats standing on the side of a known terrorist who was warned repeatedly to not leave Iran? Instead, he was at a meeting, not in Iran, but in Iraq with the head of Hezbollah to discuss what? Throwing a party for the Ayatollah or planning a vacation? Not hardly! Qasem Soleimani has been on the radar of terrorism since the 80's, led the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and since 1998 was commander of its Quds Force which is responsible for clandestine, extraterritorial operations. This was not an innocent politician and he didn't get to where he was by being nice to Christians. Again, I ask, why are American democrats standing on the side of a known terrorist? Yes, we have been actively involved with Iran one way or another since the early 50's and we shouldn't have, but that doesn't make people like Soleimani turn from a boy scout to a terrorist. He was on his way long before that and thought he was protected by the fear of Americans concerns of escalation from being targeted. Iran was granted a limited response, took it, and this chapter is closed as far as Iran goes. That said, the democrat party needs to stop playing politics as usual and support the free world over terrorists.
Funny how bothered you are that the Democrats are not happy with the assassination of a high-ranking general from a nation that has the 15th most powerful military in the world in a volatile location and situation and that you blame it on "HE'S A TERRORIST!!!" (never mind he destroyed more of ISIS than America ever has)...

Funny that, because you never complain about the terrorists backed by the US/Saudi/Turkey, including the same terrorist group responsible for 9/11 (that would be Al Qaeda) and ISIS who is known for beheading Christians. Funny you are not complaining about Saudi being an enemy and that you instead consider them "friends" because they are wealthy and have oil but they will not hesitate to publicly execute a Christian for sharing the Gospel in their country where churches are outright ILLEGAL (unlike Iran which at least somewhat protects a lot of Christians' rights and has many churches including the oldest Church in the world).

Why are you on the side of Saudi Arabia, Al Qaeda, and ISIS??? Why is AMERICA on that side of things??? Go there and preach the Gospel and they will cut off your hands or else publicly lash you and then hang you - but explain to them you're their FRIEND so they shouldn't.

Every president before Obama did not release the funds. Why was that?

Good for Iran, the fact that the US is practically starving a country to death, and has bases surrounding it makes it clear whose the aggressor here, Iran has repeatedly said it doesn’t want a full scale war with the US, but will use any and all measures to defend itself, whether it includes foreign allies, proxies, missiles, and nuclear weapons (if Iran ever actually gets any). I think that’s the normal response when you kill the head commander of an entire army and a future candidate for the presidency, I wonder what the US would do if Iran killed the head of the CIA or Trump himself, we’d probably see something worse then the Hiroshima.

How nice. Support murderers.
How many people have been killed by the US and it’s allies since the Iraq war? Get those numbers and compare them to how many people were killed by the Iranian regime and its own allies and you’ll get less than a fraction compared to what the US and it’s allies have done and still continue doing all over the Middle East. Also why is it wrong to fire missiles at military bases surrounding the borders of your own country?

Combatants and illegal combatants according to LOAC? I’m sure thousands of not tens of thousands. Deliberate attacks on non-Combatants? None.

How about the numbers of civilians killed in Iraq since the US’s invasion in 2003 that pretty much extends to half a million? And how about destabilizing mutlieoke countires in the Middle way in which countless others were also killed?

The Iraqis were killing each other and 500K needs citation. Suleimani was responsible for thousands of Iraqi Sunni deaths in the civil war.

So the Iraqis killed half a million of each other, here’s a citation:

https://www.psr.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/body-count.pdf

Surely you mean Sunni militia terrorist groups that obviously had no problem killing Christians or Shiites.
Says nothing about 500k

From the source:

Based on data by city governments, morgues, and hospitals, the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) reported 34,452 civilian war casualties for the year of 2006.25 According to the AP, by February 2009 Iraq’s Ministry of Health had reg- istered around 87,000 Iraqi casualties since March 2003. Supplemented by its own data and additional sources, in April 2009 the agency estimated the number of war casualties at over 110,000.
Again. What civilian non combatants did the US target in Iraq?

So they seriously killed half a million of each other while the US were just helping out?
That’s projection. And it’s not 500K. The report includes displaced people.

The most accurate will be the morgues and ministry of health data.

It was the Shah’s money...
That and really belongs to the people suffering under the Mullah terrorist regime.

We should have handed back in humanitarian aid, building materials and medical supplies. Then again that would just go to the Quds and Hezbollah.
